Welcome to the 4th edition of The Seaside Scramble 10K, on the trails of Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park, Nova Scotia. This race will take you along the beautiful beach boardwalk leading you
to the rugged coastal Pennant Point Trail. After reaching the Point, the trail will head inland through a fun single-track trail that will bring you back to the start/finish area.
We are pretty excited about having access to this trail system and showing everyone all it has to offer. Our goal for this race is to have a fun and competitive race while offering up some incredible ocean views. Most importantly, we will have our social including a complimentary BBQ (Hot Dogs & Veggie Dogs) afterwards. Feel free to take dip in the ocean if you're brave enough.
The Seaside Scramble is a 10ish km trail race. The course has a bit of everything on it including but not limited to; boardwalks, coastal rocky outcrops, boulder fields, and some really nice singletrack trail.
There will be prizing for the male and female podium and lots of prizes for non-podium finishers as always.
We hope you can join us for a fun and memorable day of technical trail racing! Pack up the family and bring everyone out for a race and some fun times.
Please note there is no time limit on this race and no mandatory gear is required. If you expect to be out there for a couple of hours, we would suggest bringing along a headlamp. This is truly a race anyone can do and have a ton of fun with.

Welcome to the fourth edition of Run With Rob!
After powerful runs across Manitoba in 2023, New Brunswick in 2024, and Prince Edward Island in 2025, Run With Rob is heading to Nova Scotia.

Despite slavery being abolished, anti-Black racism is still prevalent in our provinces and country. To honour Emancipation Day (August 1), collectively we are accepting that slavery existed in what
we now call Canada. As a founder and co-organizer of Black Lives Matter (BLM) - In This TOGETHER, our executive team wanted to look at ways to enable our group’s mission statement (see below) to educate, but also create a better understanding of slavery and its implications on the social determinants of health of people of African ancestry.
It is extremely important to spread awareness through acknowledging but also acting on ways to address anti-black racism past and present. To do so, we must acknowledge, act, and ameliorate.
The Emancipation Run/Walk is just one small step at MOVING forward in the right direction!
A little bit about BLM - In This TOGETHER: BLM- In this TOGETHER was formed on July 11, 2020 in Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia. This was largely in response to George Floyd’s death and the means to spread awareness by unifying people to MOVE within the BLM Movement, as sitting still does nothing.
Our group, BLM - In this TOGETHER supports the BLM Movement. This is done in contrary to the fact of everything that is going on in this world that has implicated the lives of Black people, and even here in Nova Scotia.
Our vision is to move within the Movement and to move to dismantle inequality, racism, police brutality, and systematic racism, but also bringing awareness to the impacts of such experiences on one’s overall health.

4th Annual Just Live Fun Run.
Register for our in-person or virtual event options today!
Join us August 23, 2026, which happens to be just days after the five
year Cancer-versary date of Michelle, My Journey to Just Live's, diagnosis with Stage 4 Incurable Cancer. Michelle was diagnosed in 2021 with an ultra rare Sarcoma cancer called Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma, EHE for short. Michelle has innumerable tumours throughout her body and has made it her mission to chase joy and Just Live!
She started running in January 2022, 5 months postpartum, and 4 months post diagnosis; she never had run before. Her goal was to set herself up for success, and was hopeful for the best possible outcome to tackle this bleak cancer diagnosis. Michelle has run in countless running events, even half marathons, including one in London, England raising funds for EHE UK Charity. Michelle, with the support of her husband Ty, challenged herself in 2024, and became a triathlete. You can see Michelle's latest documentary, "The Journey Home," where she completed a 126km personal triathlon and took us on a personal journey to redefine a day that a rare sarcoma cancer once stolen from her. Each year just gets better and better!
As we rally in support of those affected by EHE cancer, the Just Live Fun Run is an opportunity to meet your body where its at with a personal healthy living goal, choosing hard and chasing joy. With community and movement at the heart of this unique day, it is a time to step up, show support and celebrate together!
The in-person 5km Run and 10km Run will be chip timed. Timing services provided by Atlantic Chip Sport Timing. This year’s route will be the same as 2025, with the start and finish ending at the Cornwall Civic Center.
