Come join us for the 32nd Annual 5k Run to Educate on August 7, 2026. The race begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Bellefontaine High School Track.

When the LCEF Run To Educate committee was organizing the event as a fundraiser for the foundation, the topic of awards came up. It was discussed that a popular distance for a run is 5K or about 3.1 miles. In mathematics, Pi is a mathematical constant whose value is the ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter. It is approximately equal to 3.14159 in the usual decimal notation. The committee thought it would be a great tie in to link a mathematical term to an event sponsored by an educational foundation. So that is why every year pies are awarded to the top male and female finisher.

Registrations after July 17, 2026 will not be guaranteed an event t-shirt.

Kids Race

Kids fun run for kids aged 10 and under. Free to run, with a shirt option for $8

Lace up your spikes and tear up the grass in this 2 mile Cross Country race, compete as an

individual or as part of a team!

High school and college athletes, compete with your teammates and test your summer fitness!

Local runners, compete as an individual or with your club and enjoy racing on grass again.

Spectators can watch free of charge, bring your family and friends out for a great summer

evening of Cross Country.

Verso l’Alto Track Club is a competitive Catholic men’s run club based in the greater Cincinnati

area. Inspired by St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, the club seeks to strive “to the heights” of running

and in faith.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just love to walk and take in the scenery, SKECHERS Wicked Wine Run is for you! Each course will be held on beautiful properties or various partner vineyards across the country giving you a rare opportunity to view and tour a vineyard like no other. With the option to choose between a 1K or 5K course, or both, there’s something for everyone. Along the 1K course, you’ll find four sampling stations where you can enjoy world-class wines from the partner vineyard. And if you complete the 5K course, there will be a complimentary glass of wine waiting for you at the finish line.

Enjoy access to our post event party where you can enjoy the tunes of a live DJ, eat some delicious food from our food trucks, purchase more wine and play “that’s when we became best friends” games, creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening out with your friends and loved ones. Don’t miss out on the fun-filled event!

Bring a friend, put together a team, or fly solo to meet fellow wine enthusiasts as you sample wines from the vineyard. By participating, you’ll not only be treating yourself to a great time but also supporting our charity partners!
