Every run, swim, ride and race

Heats in Hiram is a short track mountain bike training series giving riders an opportunity for a workout during the week in a fun, competitive, and social environment. The series consists of 3 nights of racing on consecutive Tuesday nights in August, 8/4, 8/11, and 8/18. Racers will have the opportunity to compete twice during the night in their self-identified category. Each race will last approximately 20 minutes consisting of a ~1 mile loop of dirt tractor path and wooded single track. Between races, riders will have the opportunity to ride additional trail on the property.

Online Race Waiver must be signed by all participants.

Racers have the option to sign-up for the whole series at a discounted price or can register for individual nights.

Racers will be assigned a Number Plate for the series which will be used for the all 3 nights. If a number plate is lost a new one will be assigned.

THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER ON SITE. Please bring your own water for hydration and cleaning.

Scoring:

Nightly: Top 3 Podium in each category based on the sum of points. See point system below.

Tiebreakers will be the result from the second race of the night

Series: Minimum Top 3 Podium in each category based on sum of points.

Race Promoter has authority to adjust schedule based on participation numbers and other factors including weather.

Here are a few important updates for all participants:

👟 The run is now LESS THAN half a mile — short, sweet, and splattered in color!

🕓 Registration will begin at 5:00 PM in Memorial Park — due to the large crowd expected!

🏁 Race starts at 6:00 PM, but come early! We’ll have activities and fun to enjoy while you wait.

🪑 Bring a chair if you plan on hanging out — you’ll want to stay awhile!

🎽 Only those registered before Friday, July 31st will receive the swag bag — which includes a T- shirt, sunglasses along with a lot of other goodies

👉 Anyone who signs up after that date is still welcome to join the fun — just note the goodies are limited to early registrants!
