My name is Olaf Alders. A few years after I discovered running, I started looking into local races. Soon I was looking for local triathlons and and not much later I was looking for local open water swim events. Finding these events turned out to be a combination of searching Google, searching listings created by retailers, joining groups on Facebook and, in a lot of cases, word of mouth. There was no one place where I could find all of these events. So, I set out to try to aggregate listings of timed events that people like me might also be interested in. What you see here is an alpha version of some aggregated listings. Each listing found should direct you back to the place where the information was originally found, so that you can do your own research and decide which events you would like to attend. Please see the disclaimer at the bottom of the page for more information about this.

My goal is to try to find local events and send you to the local event organizer so that you can sign up and/or support their event. None of the listings are vetted, so having a site listed here is no endorsement of the event. You should always do your research before making plans and/or handing over any money.

This is currently a hobby project, but I'm happy for any and all feedback, from event organizers to folks who are just looking for an event.

In order for me to include new sources of data, they should either be available in a format that can easily be consumed automatically (JSON, XML, etc) or they should exist on a web site whose terms of service allows for an automated crawler to index their site. For example, you should not find any direct links to Ironman listings on this site, as their terms of service explicitly forbid this. If you do spot any, please feel free to let me know.
