    This race is chip-timed by your bibs. Please make sure to put your bib on the front of your body for visibility.

    Shirts and finishers gifts are not guaranteed for registrations after January 21st. We understand waiting till the last minute to register, but we cannot wait until the last minute to order.

    Awards will be distributed after all participants have crossed the finish line. Awards will not be shipped.

    Age Group for individual runners: Top Three overall male and female, First place masters (40+ for men, 29-ish for ladies), First place grandmasters male and female (50+)

    The top three overall in each category will receive a bag of Zen Evo Dark Chocolate 7 Day Supply:

    Personal Best Racing has a NO REFUND policy. If you are unable to attend, you can still pick up your packet, but finishers items will not be given.

    Event Cancellation / Modification Policy - If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:

    1. Personal Best Racing in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first. 2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Personal Best Racing and local officials 3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Personal Best Racing to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event. 4. Personal Best Racing does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.

    Join Personal Best Racing for our I Just Want To Be A Unicorn Half Marathon and 5k along the beautiful riverfront greenways and roads.

    This year we are going GREEN!

    Half Marathon begins at 8am heading west on Neyland to the greenway connection that goes over the river (and through the woods) then back to pickup the Tyson Greenway to concord and back to the Volunteer Landing for a magical finish!

    The 5k begins at 8:15am and heads west on Neyland and turns around at connection of new greenway and old greenway.

    Packet Pickup will be held on Friday evening, March 6th at The Long Run 2452 Sutherland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37919 5-7pm and then again Saturday morning at Volunteer Landing, 956 Volunteer Landing Lane starting at 6:30am closing at 7:50am for both the half marathon and 5k.

    All participants will receive a medal, but the half marathon medals will be different.

    Awards will go to top 3 male and female over all, top masters male and female, 3 deep male and female Age group awards 5 and under, 6-10 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+

    Carrie On Events stands as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that orchestrates an annual 5K event in Knoxville, aligning with the vibrant spirit of St. Patrick's Day. 2026 will mark our 13th remarkable year of this race.

    The best part is that you get to have all this fun while supporting a great cause!

    All proceeds go directly to Emily's Power For A Cure. EPFAC is a foundation whose purpose is to raise funds and awareness for neuroblastoma research. It's also a group that we hold very dear to us. Strollers are welcome (at your own risk) on the course and dress to impress! We have our coveted Carrie Daugherty Spirit Award up for grabs again this year! Please note that since this course is on an open street, headphones are discouraged. Please note dogs will not be allowed on the course or in the stadium at any time.

No Veteran should be without a place to call home in the country they swore to defend, and with your support, Operation Hero's Hill can provide safe shelter to 20 unhoused Veterans currently living here in our community.     • All team members run the first mile together.

    • The exercises may be divided among team members in any manner.

    Train with Fleet Feet Knoxville for the The Big Run 5K! Whether you're just starting out, wanting to up your mileage, or looking to get faster, we're here to help you reach your goals! We offer a variety of run/walk programs for all levels, aimed to help you keep moving, stay motivated and have fun! Enjoy the accountability with your fellow run program team members and receive coaching and training tips along the way. We meet once a week starting the week of April 13th.

The program focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. Along the way we’ll be providing you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you. Sign up today to run your first 5K and commit to making a life change.

    Advanced 5K

    Improve your 5K time and fitness level with our Advanced 5k training program. This training program is designed to teach you more advanced running techniques and to help you continue on your running journey in a supportive environment. We want to help you beat your previous personal records and set new goals for yourself, all the while providing guidance, motivation, weekly group training runs, and more advanced educational clinics. We will cover topics designed to help you improve your 5K time such as proper pacing and good form, as well as building on previous topics like nutrition, choosing the right gear, and injury prevention.     The Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers works to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education in Knox and surrounding counties. For several years they have sponsored STEM education events in Knox County. They also annually award over $10,000 in grants to STEM education in area high schools and college scholarships to engineering students.

    Knox ProCorps seeks to provide Knoxville professionals a means to improve the health and welfare of impoverished communities in the U.S. and abroad by utilizing their talents and professional training. They have taken numerous trips to Central America and rural Appalachia.

    This annual event is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting the construction and upkeep of Sharps Ridge Veterans Memorial Park. The event start point is at the Lincoln Park Technology Trade School, 535 Chickamauga Ave. The courses proceed in a loop on the well marked hiking trails of Sharps Ridge that meander through largely wooded and hilly terrain.     Our mission at Woolfson Eye Institute is to help individuals achieve better vision. We

    The RecSports 5K Fun Run & Walk will begin promptly at 8am and will start at the TRECS (2111 Volunteer Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37996) and finish at the RecSports Sutherland Field Complex (3620 Sutherland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37919).

    Race Participants are encouraged to park at the RecSports Sutherland Field Complex for transportation to the starting line at TREC, transportation service will be available from 6:30-7:30am to shuttle participants.

    Red Panda Run 5K

    Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a wild adventure at Zoo Knoxville’s brand-new Red Panda Run 5K, a unique race experience that begins and ends inside the zoo. Participants will race past some of the zoo’s most iconic habitats while supporting wildlife conservation.

    The Red Panda Run kicks off at the Boyd Family Red Panda Village and takes runners on a scenic three-mile journey through Zoo Knoxville and neighboring Chilhowee Park.     Saving Grace is on a mission and needs your help! We are a women's home that aids women with faith based recovery from drug and abuse to influence positive life changing growth with a lifelong impact. If you can't join us in person on the day of the race, you may choose to participate in the virtual 5K opportunity by walking or running a course of your choosing while still supporting Saving Grace's mission.

    Our in person events include a 5K, 10K and 1-mile run/ walk event at Victor Ashe Park to raise funds for our local non-profit mission work.

    All 5 & 10K runners will receive a Race T-shirt, please sign up before May 25th to guarantee your shirt size!

    PACKET PICKUP:

    Pick up will be available race morning only from the Pavilion at Victor Ashe starting at 8:45am.

    RACE COURSE:

    Course will start near the main pavilion and will travel out on the paved greenway path towards the Elementary School before looping back up the same path to finish where the race began from. 10K runners will run through the finish and repeat the same loop again.

    AWARDS:

    Awards will be given to top runners as well as to the top performer in each M & F Age Group.

    Awards will be given to top 3 Male & top 3 Females overall. Age Groups will be awarded to top individual per gender for every 10 year increment (9 & under, 10-19, 40-49 etc). All finishers will receive a T-shirt with their registration. Orders will close one week before the race date, registrations within the week leading up to race day are NOT guaranteed a giveaway item. All 1 mile runners under the age of 10 will receive a finisher token at the finish line.

    Participants in the virtual event and 1-mile run will not be scored, Virtual runners, please submit results anytime in the 10-day window so we can know who participated! Once you complete your epic virtual trek, be sure to give us a shout out on social media using @savinggrace!

    Hang around after with us for the award ceremony.

    RESTROOMS:

    Restrooms are available near the event start/ finish area along with a water fountain.

    All proceeds for this event will benefit the Saving Grace Women's home of Tennessee. Proceeds go to supporting the mission of rehabilitation for local women. Saving Grace began in 2015 with 2 homes, one for men (Project Hope) and one for women (Saving Grace). 10 years later, they now have 8 homes in 5 states and are continuing to love their neighbors one by one. All donations go to supporting the center with housing and annual expenses for residents and treatments needed. We hope to see you out there and lending your support!

    The Fireball Classic 5K is a summer tradition that continues in 2026 for the 42nd year!

    Date, Time & Place: Friday, July 3rd, 2026, Kid's Mile - 8:00pm, 5K - 9:00pm, Neyland Dr

    Kickoff your 4th of July festivities with a fast 5k on Neyland Drive - it's the Fireball Classic 5k and Kid's Mile!

    Course Description: Runners will start in the east bound lane of Neyland Dr, in front of the G-10 parking lot, and run out before returning in the west bound lane, finishing in the shadow of Neyland Stadium. Kid's Mile will be an out and back on Neyland Drive.

    Registration and Entry Fee (No refunds or bib transfers): Early Bird Pricing through 3/20 - 4/19 - $25, 4/20 - 5/31 - $30, late registration 6/1 - 7/2 - $35, day of race (7/3) - $40. Cost for 17 and under is $25 until 5/31 and then goes up to $35 for late and day-of registration. Kid's Mile fee is $10 through 5/31, then $15 6/1 - 7/3. Only one coupon may be used at a time. No discounts on day-of registration.

    Packet Pickup: Early pickup on Tuesday, July 1 at The Long Run (2452 Sutherland Avenue) from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. Race-day packet pickup will be in the pavilion between the G-10 Parking Garage and the Tickle Engineering Building from 7pm-8:45pm.

    Shirts: Adults shirts will be gender specific tanks; Kids will receive a shirt and finisher's medal. Shirt order will be placed on June 5. To ensure your correct shirt size, please register by June 4. Sizes can be exchanged after the race if supplies are available.     Awards: Awards to the top 3 Overall, top Masters (As defined by fastest person age 40 and above, not limited to 40-49) Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 50 and above, not limited to 50-59), Senior Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 60 and above, not limited to 60-69) male and female. Awards to the top 3 in each age group as well as Overall Clydesdale (men over 200 lbs.) and Overall Athena (Women over 150 lbs.) Awards ceremony following race. Awards will not be mailed, but will be available for pickup at The Long Run. All kids finishing the Mile will receive a finisher's medal.

    Grand Prix Points and Team Competition: The Fireball 5k is on the 2025 Team Competition schedule. 2025 Grand Prix Points awarded winners in various categories and age groups. Points accumulate throughout the year. KTC recognizes the top 10 men and women in the Grand Prix series at the New Year’s Day 5K on January 1, 2026. Remember, to be eligible for Grand Prix Points, participants must be a member of KTC and must volunteer for at least 3 KTC races throughout the year.

    Post Race Refreshments: Assorted refreshments will be provided post race in the event tent.

    Race Etiquette: Due to insurance regulations, roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course. The 5K course closes in 1 hour and 15 minutes. KTC discourages the use of headphones at events.
