New this year, sign up for one of our two challenges! The Knox Hills Challenge includes the Saturday 5K and the Sunday Marathon. The Marble City Challenge includes the Saturday 5K and the Sunday Half Marathon. Both challenges include an extra medal and swag item to finishers!

BACK for 2026! We will offer an in-person race experience AND a Virtual Option. For those wishing to participate in the live, in-person event, select that race distance from the first five options on the registration page. For those wishing to participate in the Virtual Option, select one of the last five options (with "VIRTUAL OPTION" listed on the option).

Virtual Option participants will receive a t-shirt, medal, and goody bag. They will also be able to submit their time online on a separate results page from the live, in-person competitors.

Race Information

The race starts at 9:00 AM.

Packet pickup starts 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts.

All runners must register on RunSignup.

No on-site registration.

Course Description and Highlights: We are super excited to showcase the Hal Canfield Memorial Mile during the Volunteer Track Classic! Pursue your PR with us in 2026!

Proceeds from this race go to the Hal Canfield Endowment Scholarship fund. Scholarships are distributed each year to local graduating high school athletes for college tuition to honor KTC Founder Hal Canfield.

Registration & Entry Fee (NO REFUNDS and NO TRANSFERS): $15. There is no race day registration.

For the fifth year, Delta Delta Delta sorority and Race Day Events offers a 5k race. For 2026, the venue returns to beautiful UT Gardens, with a course largely contained on the Third Creek greenway.

Soft cotton race logo shirts to all, with Overall and Age Group awards. Post race refreshments and large assortment of snacks.

Race starts at 10am at UT Gardens on the University of Tennessee Ag Campus. Day of race registration available at 9am.

Proceeds, as with the mini triathlon for years, will again go to East TN Children's Hospital/Camp Eagles Nest, a summer camp for children with cancer and rare blood disorders

This annual event is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting the construction and upkeep of Sharps Ridge Veterans Memorial Park. The event start point is at the Lincoln Park Technology Trade School, 535 Chickamauga Ave. The courses proceed in a loop on the well marked hiking trails of Sharps Ridge that meander through largely wooded and hilly terrain. Participants can choose from three options for this event; a 5K timed trail run, a 1 mile family fun walk and supporting, but sleeping. All events take place on the Sharps Ridge trails. Registration will open at 8 AM and each race will start at 9 AM.
