The PRTC Indoor Classic: March 7th, 2026
Presented by Philly Runner and Cloudline PT
Powered by On
Join us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 for the 2nd Annual PRTC Indoor Classic at the University of Pennsylvania's Jane and David Ott Center.
In our first year, we had over five-hundred athletes from across the region and country compete, athletes ranging in ages from 13 to 81, and a Master's World Record. Youth clubs, high school teams, college club teams, master's teams, community run clubs, and elite post-collegiate teams are all able to find an opportunity to finish their indoor track season.
In year two, we are expanding our meet and are committed to providing an unintimidating, approachable environment for athletes from all experience levels to compete.
The PRTC Indoor Classic is USATF Sanctioned and is on the World Athletics calendar. All events will have:
Open sections: run slow to fast and grouped based on expected finish time with pacers marking milestone finish times (e.g. mile in 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, etc.) for select events.
Masters sections: masters-athlete-only (40 years and above) sections, eligible for prize money ($800 prize pool).
High Performance sections: optimally paced, highly competitive, elite fields with prize money ($2,000 prize pool).
⭐ New in 2026:
The 400m Sprint: We've added the 400m Sprint to provide more opportunities to sprint athletes.
It costs less if you're doubling: 50%-off the costlier event if registering for the 200m, 400m, 800m, and Mile (3,000m and Distance Medley Relay excluded; applied at check-out).
Easier DMR registration: This year, there will be one purchaser for each Distance Medley Relay team. This cost is applied when relay captain creates the relay team. Subsequent members must sign-up on RunSignUp and join their relay (they pay $0 at check-out).
Featured Clubs: Featured Clubs will get a shout-out from our announcers at the meet. Check-out our Featured Clubs page. To add your club to the page, please complete the following form.
Order of Events: The meet will follow a rolling schedule beginning with our first event, the 3000m, which will start sharply at 10:00am. The listed times are when you should start listening for the first calls of your event. Please pay attention to the announcements as we will announce first, second, and final calls for each event.
9:00 AM: Doors open, track is available for warm-ups
Philadelphia Runner Track Club (PRTC) is committed to fostering the growth of post-collegiate athletes in the Philadelphia area through coaching, training groups, and a supportive community. As a 509(a)2 public charity, we offer opportunities to compete at local and national levels in track, road, cross country, and trail events. Learn more about us on our website.

Charles Warren Stanley Memorial 5K Walk/Run
Join us on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 8:30 AM on campus at Girard College for the inaugural Charles Warren Stanley Memorial 5K Walk/Run—a cross-country style event held in memory of Charles “Stan” Stanley, Girard College Class of 1967.
A proud Philadelphia native, Stan was a devoted member of the Hum’s cross-country and track teams during his time at Girard. He was known not only for his athletic talent, but also for his dedication, team spirit, and unwavering loyalty to his classmates. This event is a tribute to his legacy, and an opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate his life and support the future of Girard athletics.
Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, all are welcome to participate in this special Founder’s Day Weekend event. Proceeds will benefit Girard College athletics, helping future generations of students thrive, on and off the field.
Check-in begins at 8:30 AM. Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt at sign-in. Be sure to select your correct shirt size at the time of registration.
We hope you’ll join us in honoring a true Girard gentleman—and help us build a new tradition grounded in fitness, friendship, and remembrance.

Join us in the fight against cancer at the 47th Philadelphia Bar Association 5K Run/Walk in Fairmount Park
For nearly half a century, the Philadelphia Bar Association has supported important causes in our community. This year, we are excited to introduce a new charity partner for the Bar Run: Anchors, an Inperium Foundation.
Anchors was established in 2019 to honor the legacy of Carol Camp, a woman who brought hope and compassion to patients and caregivers even as she faced her own battle with ovarian cancer. Since her passing, her mission has lived on in Anchors' unwavering support to people affected by cancer, offering comfort, care, and essential assistance during their time of need.

ABOUT US:
Samuel Powel is one of West Philadelphia's premier public elementary schools located in Powelton Village, in the heart of University City. Our mission is to educate the WHOLE CHILD. We lay a foundation that prepares students for success; We take responsibility for the education of every child and maintain high expectations for ALL as we prepare them for scholarship, leadership and citizenship. Powel Elementary School is a place where ALL students feel safe, valued, accepted, respected, and supported to grow & reach their full potential.
Powel's Home & School Association is a Parent/Family organization that supports the education and engagement of Powel students by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers. Our objectives are:
To provide a vehicle for communication and community building between parents and the administration and faculty.
To enhance the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities
To improve the environment at our school by providing volunteer and financial support.
WHY WE'RE RUNNING:
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, parents, students, teachers, staff and administrators have had very limited opportunities to engage with each other. Many of our historically successful fundraising activities have had to be modified or cut altogether for the sake of the health and safety of our school community. So we have decided to start a new Powel School tradition: The Powel 5K & Family Fun Day! Our GOAL is to fundraise in a healthy, safe and equitable way while showing our Powel Pride!
All proceeds from the Powel 5K & Family Fun Day will go towards the HSA’s ongoing support of the Powel Community.

Access to clean water is something many of us take for granted, yet millions of people around the world still walk miles every day to collect water that is often unsafe to drink. The Water for All 5K is a community run created to help change that.
This race is a fundraiser supporting the Mambarare Water Supply Project led by the Engineers Without Borders – Philadelphia Professional Chapter, whose members volunteer their engineering skills to partner with communities around the world to design and implement sustainable infrastructure projects. Through long-term collaboration, our teams work to improve access to essential resources like clean water, sanitation, and reliable infrastructure.
Proceeds from this event will support our chapter’s water supply project in Mambarare, Tanzania, where we are partnering with a community to help develop sustainable solutions for safe and reliable drinking water. Funds raised through the race will help support project design, materials, construction, and the travel required for engineers and volunteers to work alongside local partners.
But this race is about more than fundraising - it’s about community, impact, and the ripple effect of collective action. Every mile run represents the steps many people take each day just to access water, and every participant helps move us closer to a future where safe water is accessible to all.
Join us for a morning of running, community, and purpose as we take steps together toward a world with clean water for every community.
Help us to build a better world, one community at a time.

In keeping with the information below we have requested the July 25, 2026, race date, keeping with the opening of TRAINING CAMP. As soon as that is approved we will reopen registration. We will be starting at 8:30AM and the give away will change from a soup mug to a pint glass.

The annual 5-mile Market Street Run for Blue will be held on a Sunday in October 2026. You can run 5 Miles OR walk 3 Miles. There will be no virtual option, but you can purchase a shirt to be mailed to you. This is your chance to show your support of the dedicated officers of the Philadelphia Police Department. For decades, you had the opportunity to Run Broad Street. In 2019, for the first time, we brought you the chance to run or walk Market Street, from the Delaware River to the Schuylkill River, in support of the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department. Starting in historic Old City just a stone’s throw from the Delaware River and running 2.5 miles along Market Street to the shadow of 30th Street Station above the mighty Schuylkill River; looping back to the finish line to complete 5 miles. New this year will be the 3 Mile Walk!
Purpose of the Event:
The Market Street Run for Blue is a fund-raiser for the Philadelphia Police Foundation and a competitive or fun 5 mile run or 3 mile walk experience for all participants. To Learn about the important work of the Foundation visit here: www.phillypolicefoundation.org
