2 day event. April 25/26 2026
Day 1 - Uphill challenge consists of 6 races
Open Snowcross, Snowbike, Open Mountain, Open Turbo, King of the hill and a kids exhibition race.
Schedule:
Tech check and final confirmation 10am-11am
Race to begin @ 12pm
All riders must have minimum safety including helmet, goggles, and boots. Body Armour is optional.
No metal traction devices allowed. This includes but is not limited to studs, screws, and picks.
All sleds must be equipped with tether cords. Tether Cords must be secured to riders.
Starting with Mountain class will proceed to the kids event followed by the Snow bike class and then the Snow cross class, Turbo class. Final event of the day is the King of the hill - This will be a hand staged event as the winner of each class to compete in a final race for all the glory of the day.
Day 2 - Sled N Shred
$60/class - must bring cash for Sunday only
Registration will be onsite from 10am to 11am in chalet at Mount Sima
Team meeting at 1130 am
Race to start for 12pm
1 Plank and 2 Plank events
Final show down is winners from each event go head to head for a plank off to see who rules the hill this year
Ski or Snowboarder will be towed to the top of the course behind a snowmobile where they will release from the snowmobile and race another opponent to the bottom of the course to the finish line.
Each team will consist of an operator or rider and a skier "2 plank" or snowboarder "1plank"

Raven50 Ultra – Event Summary
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Location: Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Stadium, Whitehorse, Yukon
The Raven 50 Mile Ultra & Relay is a premier ultramarathon held annually in Whitehorse, Yukon, offering a challenging and scenic race through the rugged wilderness of the Canadian North. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with race day activities at the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Stadium, adjacent to the Canada Games Centre.
Race Overview
The Raven50 showcases the natural beauty of the Yukon and offers multiple race distances for participants of all ages and abilities:

50 Mile Solo: ~80 km, ultra-endurance challenge.

50 km Solo: Challenging but shorter distance.

50 Mile Relay: Two-person team event with an exchange near the midpoint.

50 km Relay: Team relay covering the 50 km distance.

10 km Run: Open to youth and adults, beginner-friendly.

5 km Run: Open to youth and adults, accessible and community-oriented.

2.5 km Run: Anyone welcome
The full course features over 3,000 meters of elevation gain, multiple ridges and peaks, water crossings, and a mix of single-track trails, quad roads, and switchbacks.

5:00–6:00 PM: Mandatory pre-race check-in, bag drop, and racer registration

6:00–7 PM: Opening prayer, bear safety briefing, and race orientation
- Saturday, July 4, 2026:

6:00 AM: Start – 50 Mile Solo

9:00 AM: Start – 50 km Solo & 50 km Relay

4:00 PM: Start – 10 km Run (youth and adults)

4:30 PM: Start – 5 km Fun Run & 2.5 km Kids Run (adults welcome)

Cutoff Times:
o 1:30 PM: Aid Station 4 (Jackson Lake) for 50-mile runners
o 4:30 PM: Aid Station 6 (Fish Lake)
o 9:00 PM: Finish line for all events
The day concludes with a meal, beer garden and games for kids to celebrate participants’ achievements.
Reconciliation and Community
The Raven50 is committed to truth, reconciliation, and meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities. All Indigenous runners receive a complimentary entry, and organizers work closely with the Kwanlin Dün First Nation (KDFN) and other local partners to ensure the event is conducted with respect and cultural sensitivity.
Seven aid stations with food, full facilities at the start and finish lines, and a welcoming atmosphere make the Raven50 an unforgettable experience for ultramarathon veterans, newcomers, and families alike.
