Welcome to the first year of the Full Moon 5K Trail Run/Walk at Brandywine Creek State Park!
The trails of Brandywine Creek State Park are waiting for you! Come on over, enjoy the trails, and watch the moonrise of the Flower Moon at the top of Hawk Hill after you cross the finish line.
This event is a fundraising event for three groups: The Friends of Brandywine Creek State Park, GRIT: Girls Really Into Trails, and the Delaware Interscholastic Cycling League.
Moonrise will be at ~8:20PM and we encourage everyone to bring a chair so you can stick around, enjoy the music, lawn games, s'mores, snacks, and a drink at the top of Hawk Hill. (Adult beverages available for for those 21+). S'mores and lawn games are free for everyone, participating runners and families alike.
Sunset will be at ~7:57PM. While the sun will still be up after most participants complete the event, it is always slightly darker in the woods! If you believe you will be on the race course for close to the full allotted hour, the recommendation would be to bring a head lamp as there will not be additional illumination provided on course.
We just want to remind you so you are properly prepared that this is a trail run/walk and there will be some rocks, roots, grass and other natural surface elements on the course. Come prepared and ready to have fun!
Bib Pickup and the start and finish line will be at the top of the Hawk Watch Parking Lot at Brandywine Creek State Park 41 Adams Dam Road Wilmington, DE 19807.

Please join us for the Nurses Week 5K!
The profession of nursing is often one that is self-less, however, research tells us that when we take care of ourselves, we are better able to care for others. The idea for the 5K came about from the desire to promote wellness, comradery and joy amongst the Caregivers of ChristianaCare. In the spirit of Relationship Based Care, to make a commitment to our patients, our colleagues and ourselves. Our hope is to inspire healthy lifestyles, work life balance and teamwork at a fun and exciting event for ChristianaCare caregivers and their families and friends. Whether you choose to run or walk, we are hopeful to make this year's Nurses Week 5K one of our best yet.
This year's event is free, however we encourage donations. All donations this year will be going to Nurses House - a nurse-managed, nonprofit organization helping nurses in need across the United States. Please click the 'donate' button on this screen to support today!

We are two Delaware Occupational and Speech Therapists who are planning the 3rd Annual Stroke Awareness 5k Run/Walk event.
We have identified a need for support and awareness in our community for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Our hope is to connect this wonderful community with local businesses and resources to shed a light on this important cause.
Proceeds from this race will go towards supporting our foundation's financial grant that is available to anyone living within the state of Delaware, to be used for any stroke related care not covered by insurance. Some costs that the grant covers include but are not limited to: adaptive clothing, adaptive equipment to improve safety and quality of life, mobility related DME, transportation to and from appointments, speech generating devices, and thickener secondary to dysphagia.
Check out our website at www.shinealightonstroke.org and our social media @shinealightonstroke (Facebook and Instagram).

On Saturday, May 16th, 2026, the Delaware Farm Bureau Foundation is hosting the 13th Annual Milk Run/Walk at Ramsey’s Farm in Wilmington, DE. All net proceeds will go to The Ministry of Caring’s “Milk for Children Fund”, the Food Bank of Delaware “Backpack Program”, and the Delaware Farm Bureau Foundation’s efforts to advance agricultural literacy.
The Ministry of Caring in Wilmington serves about 500 nutritious meals at no cost to needy and hungry men, women, and children daily, with milk being just one of their offerings at the table. The Food Bank of Delaware’s Backpack Program provides food for at-risk children on the weekends and holidays when school is not in session.
We are thrilled to say we have raised over $260,000 in the last 12 years of the event. While our success has set the bar high, we hope to keep that number growing. Proceeds from the event support Delawareans from across the state and help them to better understand agriculture and from where their food originates.
Please join us in this worthy cause by donating to help continue to provide milk and food for these children.
