A Coffee Run brought to you by the Delaware Athletic Trainers' Association!

The DATA is excited to bring you our 5th Annual Coffee Run! Even if you do not love coffee---we promise a family friendly morning for all levels of runners and walkers!

This event is a fundraiser for the Delaware Athletic Trainers' Association. Athletic Trainers (ATs) are licensed healthcare providers that specialize in injury and illness prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, as well as emergency care and preparedness of the physically active. Our traditional setting is in secondary schools, collegiate, and professional athletic departments (We are the ones with the fanny packs that run out for injuries!!) but you will also see us in other places, including PT clinics and doctors offices. The DATA represents Athletic Trainers and advocates for the health and safety of athletes and the physically active in the state of Delaware. Walk or run with the Appo High ASPIRA Club at their 3rd Annual Charity 5K!

Meet at the Biddle Point Michael N. Castle Trail Delaware. Registration from 9:30 - 10 am.

10 am start!

All proceeds will go to the Delaware Small Business Development Center

The meeting point is at Biddle Point along the C and D canal. It does not really have an address. The best way to find it if you’re coming from route 13 and turn East onto Cox Neck Road. Pass by Gunning Bedford Middle and then Southern Elementary on your Left. Immediately on the right, there is a large brown sign for the C and D canal. Take the next Right which will bring you to the meeting point.

Please join us for the Nurses Week 5K!

The profession of nursing is often one that is self-less, however, research tells us that when we take care of ourselves, we are better able to care for others. The idea for the 5K came about from the desire to promote wellness, comradery and joy amongst the Caregivers of ChristianaCare. In the spirit of Relationship Based Care, to make a commitment to our patients, our colleagues and ourselves. Our hope is to inspire healthy lifestyles, work life balance and teamwork at a fun and exciting event for ChristianaCare caregivers and their families and friends. Whether you choose to run or walk, we are hopeful to make this year's Nurses Week 5K one of our best yet.

This year's event is free, however we encourage donations. All donations this year will be going to Nurses House - a nurse-managed, nonprofit organization helping nurses in need across the United States. Please click the 'donate' button on this screen to support today!
