    Join us for the 10th Annual Toronto Carnival Run on Saturday, July 25, 2026!

    Celebrate health, culture, and community at this Caribbean Carnival–themed run/walk along Toronto’s scenic waterfront. Starting and finishing at Sir Casimir Gzowski Park, this out-and-back route along the Martin Goodman Trail offers 5K, 10K and 1K kids race for all ages and fitness levels.

    The Course

    NOTE: DUE TO CONSTRUCTION ON THE TRAIL THE RACE WILL NOT RUN EAST TOWARDS ROUGE BEACH.

    The run starts at the Port Union Waterfront Park and heads west along the Waterfront Trail, crosses the Waterfront Trail Bridge, then turns north to follow the Highland Creek trail. At 2.5k the course turns around and returns back to start line at Port Union Waterfront Park. The 10k run will turn around at the start and do another lap back west and north along the trail, then return to the start.

    Water Stations

    There will be two water stations on the course, on at the start/finish, and one at the 2.5km turn around. The 10k runners will go through both water stations twice.

    Parking

    The is free parking at the Rouge Hill GO station's west parking lot at the foot of Port Union Road. From there it is a short walk to the start line at Port Union Waterfront Park.

    Washrooms

    There are washrooms in the Port Union Village Commons Park,

    Prizes

    Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female participants from each age category in each event. At least 18 prizes will be available. Depending on participation, there may also be prizes for special participants (e.g. para or special athletes).

    Every participant who provides an e-mail address will be sent a personalized certificate showing their standing (for the top 3 positions) or participation within their event, gender and age group.

    Who is it for?

    The 3K walk/run is open to all levels, including families with children and walking groups, to promote physical activity at all ages. Families are invited to enjoy live entertainment and free activities before and after the race.

    The 5K timed race is open to all levels, offering a shorter distance for casual and competitive runners.

    The 10K timed race is for those who want to challenge themselves.

    What does the registration include?

    Registration includes the race kit (t-shirt, race bib), swag bag, a post-race lunch featuring Dempster’s products, and the official 2026 Bimbo Global Race medal.

    All items are exclusive to in-person participants.

    Race packets will be available for pickup on event day at the following times:

    10 km runners: 7:00 a.m.

    5 km runners: 8:00 a.m.

    3 km runners: 9:30 a.m.

    Please make sure to collect your packet at the designated time for your race.

    Join us on October 24^th for the Toronto Railway Club Social 5K Run/Walk event at Wilket Creek Park, Toronto. Run with your friends, colleagues, and industry partners, while supporting the WTS Canadian Education Foundation (CEF) charity dedicated to strengthening Canada’s transportation industry through diversity by granting scholarships to high-potential students enrolled in post-secondary programs relating to transportation

    PARKING

    There is ample parking to the north (the right) of the park entrance. And then it will be short 5-minute walk to the main event venue.

    COURSE MAP

    Participants will start on the main park road heading south under Eglinton Ave and meander through beautiful E.T. Seton Park enjoying the fall colours. The path leads you under Overlea Blvd. to a turnaround at the 2.5 km mark before heading the same way back with a different perspective.

    The course will be marshalled by volunteers and well-monitored by course management staff.

    Hydration: A staffed Water Station will be available for participants just after the turnaround point.

    ONSITE CHECK-IN and RUNNER PACKET PICK-UP

    Each participants must check in at the Registration Tent upon arrival and pick up your OFFICIAL NUMBER BIB.

    Runner Packet Pick-up will open at 8:30 am. In order to avoid a delay of the run starting at 10:00 am, please arrive at between 8:30 - 9:30 AM to find parking and pick up your number bib.

    TIMING

    • This is an official chip timed event, provided by ENFIELD TIMING.

    FINISHER'S MEDAL

    Each participant will receive a commemorative medal from race volunteers upon crossing the Finish Line.
