Zombie Night Crawl - 5k and Kids Run

Test your speed, and endurance while trying to navigate through a zombie-infested course.
At the sound of the siren, walk, run, or crawl your way through our hoard of zombies to try to reach the finish line alive. Each survivor will begin with three lives (flags).
This race will be timed by Pike Street Bikes.

Join the Arnold Air Society for our annual Service Project: Running for Suicide Awareness 5K/10K, an event dedicated to raising awareness for suicide prevention and promoting mental health within our community.
This event honors those we’ve lost, supports those who continue to struggle, and reminds us that no one runs alone. Participants of all fitness levels are welcome to walk, jog, or run in solidarity and support of the cause.
All proceeds and participation efforts go toward promoting suicide awareness, resilience, and connection among our cadets, veterans, and community members.
Come together with us as we run for hope, strength, and life.

The Big Bear Lake Trail Center is quickly becoming known as the hot spot for classic east coast single track. Years of trail development, by experienced mountain bikers have created a trail system that will have you grinning ear to ear. The terrain has everything to offer; gradual climbs, large embedded rocks, tight slaloms, challenging rock gardens, and off the saddle downhills. Almost 50 miles of trail wind through knee deep ferns, soft needle pine plantations, and groves of mountain laurel. Riders of all ages and abilities will find trails to fit their individual riding skills and need for adrenaline. The Big Bear Lake Trail Center is the place to bring the entire family to experience mountain biking at its best.
We make it easy to find your way around. Trail maps will be mailed to online season pass purchasers or you can ask for one at the main entrance. We also suggest checking out the TrailForks app or the MTB Project app on your mobile device. Trail fees are $10/day or $30 for a season pass. Season passes will be mailed to you. If you choose to buy a day pass - bring proof of purchase in the form of a printed confirmation email or a screenshot on your phone. A staff member will verify that your pass is valid for that day.
All trails may be used for hiking, trail running, and x-c skiing. Trails are closed from November 1 thtough December 31. Trails are open from January 1 to October 31 each year.

HALF MARATHON RACE COURSE The course is straight, flat, and fast making it the perfect chance to hit your new PR! The race will start on the rail trail behind the Seneca Center. Participants will head towards Point Marion/Sheepskin Rail Trail on the trail for 6.55 miles before turning around and finishing where they began. The course begins on pavement for just shy of 3 miles before turning to crushed limestone. Participants can expect shade and a beautiful view of the Monongahela River as the sun rises and the fog lifts.
1mile KIDS RACE COURSE The course is simple: out and back on the rail trail. Participants will head towards the Core Arboretum for .5 miles before turning around and heading back to the finish.
COURSE SAFETY Dogs are not permitted in the race.
TIME LIMIT There is a 4 hour time limit.
NUTRITION: Gels will be provided on the race course, as well as water at Mile- 2,3,5,8,10, and 11.
SWAG The first 245 people registered will receive swag.
AWARDS Awards will be offered to the top 3 overall male and female finishers. There will be first place age group awards for male and female finishers for the following: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79,80-89, and 90 & up.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION You can register in-store during regular business hours with cash or check only. You can also register during packet pick-up with cash or check.
EARLY PACKET PICK-UP Early pick-up will be on Friday, October 30th at Morgantown Running from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP You may also pick up your packet on Saturday morning before the race starting at 6:30am. Kid's race packets can be picked up as late as 8:00am
PARKING You may park in the Seneca Center parking lot. Please do not park in the Garage under the Seneca Village Apartments as those spaces are for residents only.

Rally your friends and embark on the adrenaline-pumping journey of running a 5K while dodging zombies throughout Camp Shenandoah!
This thrilling course will take you through Camp Shenandoah, weaving through hills and woods along Little North Mountain out in Swoope, VA. Explore our trails while evading hungry zombies.
Each participant will be equipped with a belt holding three flags, symbolizing your lives. Your mission is to safeguard these lives from the pursuing zombies eager to snatch them away. Successfully cross the finish line with at least one flag intact, and you've "survived." Finish with no flags left, and you've been "infected."
This isn't a race against the clock, but a race for survival. Every runner will be awarded a medal upon crossing the finish line. Will your medal proudly proclaim you as a "Survivor" or mark you as "Infected?" The challenge awaits, and the adventure is unpredictable!

A mountain-built trek across Wintergreen’s rugged Blue Ridge slopes. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack. The route weaves shaded single-track, rocky overlooks, and rolling ridgelines with sweeping valley views across Virginia’s high country.
Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with a fun post-trek party for everyone to enjoy!
Trek Day Information
UltraTrax Wintergreen kicks off at 7am on November 7, 2026. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am with the post-trek party starting at 11am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 10/20/26, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend. Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch. Level 3 and 4 participants will also qualify to earn our coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Refreshments and food will be available after the race.

Calling all young heroes! The Kids 1 Mile Fun Run is designed for children ages 12 and under who are ready to dash into action and earn their superhero bragging rights.

Wave 1: Kids Only
Adults are not allowed to run with their child in Wave 1.
Parents must pick up a security bracelet for child check in and check out during packet pickup.
Wave 2: Kids plus one parent
A parent may run or walk alongside their child. Parent registration is not required.
Wave 3: Kids in strollers and a parent or guardian
One additional parent or guardian may be added to wave 2 or 3 during registration with the purchase of a $5 ticket.
⚠️ Race cap: The combined cap for the Kids 1 Mile Fun Run is 250 participants, so register early to secure your spot.
Please note that the Kids Fun Run is not timed, and waves will start approximately one minute apart.

All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please plan accordingly before registering, as we are unable to offer deferrals or transfers to other events or future years.
👶 Stroller Policy
Strollers are discouraged due to the narrow course. If you must bring one, please:
• Start at the back of the pack
• Stay to the right side of the path
• No side by side strollers due to course width
This helps ensure a safe and smooth race for all participants.
🎧 Headphone Policy
For safety on this narrow out and back course, headphones are discouraged. Please remain aware of your surroundings and other participants during the race.
♿ Assisted Athletes Welcome
We welcome heroes of all abilities.
• Both the assisted athlete and the pusher must register and sign the waiver
• Each receives half price registration
• Assisted athlete teams will receive a 3 to 5 minute head start for safety
• Designated parking assistance will be available
