This is a first year event and if you've been to Margraff you know parking is limited. For these reasons we are limiting participants to 100. The minimum age to participate as a racer is 12 years of age the day of the event.

Carpooling is encouraged and please. “take your time” driving up Fratz Road to the race site- the road is narrow, and we don't want to piss off the residents who live on the road. On the way up the hill check out the cool container home on the right.

Don't believe AI – generally there are not bathrooms at the trailhead, but we plan to have Porta potties!

For more information on the race go to Race Event Page. Any additional questions email @ [email protected]

Volunteers- we want you- race schwag, the opportunity to spend time in the woods w snacks, fluids and more!!

Packet Pickup: Aug 8, 2026 from 3-5pm @ Brewery and the Beast on 219 in Accident, MD. You can also pickup your packet from 8:30-9:30am raceday at the race site.

MORE's Fall Campout will again be in Bruceton Mills, WV at the Big Bear Lake Camplands, Friday -Sunday,

This event is intended to be a benefit to MORE/IMBA members! If you are not a member, you can join at the yearly rate of $39/individual or $50/family. If you are a current member and need to renew, add the membership to your cart while registering and select the member pricing for the campout. You can also always join here:

Each individual must register for the event. It does not matter how many people you have in a tent, or how many tents you have, or if you're in a RV, or whether you're an adult or kid.

We are staying at Big Bear Lakes "Beaver Creek Village". This is not the airstrip where they hold large events, but the camping area with a bath house shortly after the entrance. The entire campground area is reserved, there are tent sites and RV hookups at some sites. All RV and tent areas are first come/first serve and as we are a large group, expect to share sites/space with others in a "tent-city" fashion. The website for the camping area is here: Campground map

    Event details:

    • Arrival is anytime Friday and departure is Sunday. If you want to arrive earlier or leave later, you need to contact Big Bear Lake Registration and make accommodations with them to purchase additional camping days. This applies whether you are tenting, or in an RV. Use this website to find the number to call to make reservations or make them online: (Click on RV, or Tent links)

    • Sites - all RV and tent areas are first come/first serve and as we are a large group, expect to share sites/space with others in a "tent-city" fashion. There are some wooden platforms on one side of the area, not-shaded areas in the middle and an open field at the top of the area. You can set your tent up anywhere. A description of the area is here:

    • Saturday breakfast - MORE will provide us with individually wrapped breakfast burritos, so that everyone has a full tummy to start a day of riding. There is a selection of ingredients, even vegetarian but not vegan (they all include egg) We are not providing coffee or juice.

    • Saturday dinner - we will be having the Pot-luck dinner on Saturday! Prepare your best dish for sharing Saturday night, the only rule is it should be prepared at the campsite. There will be voting and prizes for the best dishes!

    • Adult beverages - as in the past, we will have kegs of beer Friday and Saturday night for the adults to enjoy. The intent is to supplement what you bring from home, so don't forget to pack your favorites also.

    • Pets & Fireworks - you may bring your furry friends to the event, but they must be leashed. Attendees from prior years may recall the issue we had with fireworks and a dog running off frightened. We are required to comply with the rules of the Big Bear Lake Camplands, which is NO FIREWORKS and PETS MUST BE LEASHED.

Cabin – there are no longer cabins at the Big Bear Lake Camplands.
