"Volunteer then Run" is our highly discounted registration to help with Race Day and Pre-Race Day Packet-Pick-Up, Set-Up and Tear Down. For you speedsters You can run and help with Award Distribution, Finishline photos and Finisher Tent. You can participate in Either 5k, 10k and 10k-Relay events. Simply show up an hour and a half before race start to help and about 15 minutes before race starts, you can join everyone at the starting line for pre-race warmup. Then after you run the race and recover you help us hand out awards, refreshments and cookies!!

Steps for Students is an annual event benefiting the 55 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Over the last 20 years, this exciting day of family fun has brought together our Catholic community for a Sunrise Mass, a sanctioned 5K race, and a post-race party in the Catholic School Village. In 2025, over 10,000 people registered, and over $900,000 was raised to fund the unique needs of each of our Catholic schools.

It’s rodeo season in Houston and the Rodeo Clown RoundUp is BACK by popular demand!
After a hiatus since 2020, we’re bringing this fan favorite event back bigger and better than ever. Join us at Karbach Brewing Company for a fun filled, chip timed 5K and 10K that is the perfect way to kick off your rodeo festivities.
Dust off your boots and don your best western wear or rodeo clown costume. The more flair, the better. The flat and fast course starts at 9:00 a.m., making it an ideal race for all paces.
Every participant will receive a finisher medal, event t shirt, and FREE beer at the finish for participants 21 and over. Stick around after the race for Singo Bingo in the Biergarten (8:00 a.m. to NOON), plus brunch at Karbach Restaurant and Patio and Pizza and Pints, both opening at 10:00 a.m. on race day.
Bring your friends, make a morning of it, and run before you hit the carnival and all those fried rodeo treats. We cannot wait to celebrate with you.

Art you ready? Our sixth pack social run/walk of the season is ready to March thru Houston! BONUS - you can pick up your race packet for the Art Car IPA 5K presented by UHD too! Once again hosted by the out of this world staff at the Houston Flying Saucer and our favorite brewery, Saint Arnold Brewing Company and the Art Car IPA 5K Beer Pacers will lead the way!
Here/s the skinny, for $35 you get a guided and marked 3ish mile run/walk plus three tasty brews from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, a pint glass and a Texas Tamale Company breakfast!
Check in at the Saucer between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM and we run/walk at 9:00 AM and when we get back, we'll eat, drink and celebrate Saint Arnold, raise a toast and crush some tamales and enjoy great times at the Flying Saucer too!
All paces are welcome, and we will have at least three pace leaders each week, one in the front, one in the middle and a butt pincher at the end. The route is roughly 3ish miles and we simply start at the Saucer, run/walk and then head back.
Parking is free in downtown Houston on Sundays too! All of our social run/walks are rain or shine! If weather prevents us from running, we will still eat and drink beer, glorious beer!
BONUS! You can pick up your race packet too for the Art Car IPA 5K until 2:00 PM too!

The 49th running of the Bayou City Classic 10K, Texas' oldest 10K race, will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 8AM (Hand-Cycle/Pushrim start is 7:50AM). The 5K Fun Run/Walk will start at 8:20AM (Hand-Cycle/Pushrim start is 8:15AM).
The event takes place in the heart of downtown Houston (Hermann Square adjacent to City Hall). This is a family-friendly, all-inclusive event. We invite EVERYONE to participate. Wheelchair/Pushrim participants are welcomed and encouraged. Full race details at www.bayoucityclassic.org.

Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Texas State 10K Championship!
Proceeds from the Bayou City Classic are donated to the Houston Parks & Recreation Department to improve our city parks and preserve our trees. This non-profit event is organized by the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA), an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote running as a competitive sport and a healthful exercise. The race has donated over $250,000 for the Parks over the previous eight years!

Bib pick up will take place the day of beginning at 7:30AM. Finisher medals will be presented to all participants at the end of the race.
While this is a race, walkers are welcome. Children, strollers, and pets (as long as they are on a leash) are welcome as well. As I have intentionally journeyed with Christ the last few years I have found myself loving myself more because of the way He first loves me. Loving yourself for me has turned into a passion for the things of my creator Christ Jesus. I am living proof that He restores and makes all things new in our lives IF we let him. Pillow's Joyful Journey 5K shows just how this walk with Christ is. We start off Joyful in our salvation and along the journey to the finish line we go through moments of uncertainty and wanting to quit and many other negative experiences yet, He takes joy in those moments. The joy of The Lord has formed to be my strength. This has pushed me to run towards him and finish the race He sets before me. That is what has ignited my passion in stewarding my temple and what has transcended into a passion for running to flourish and pour over into the Iives of others. The Yuri’s Fun Run Houston is part of an annual worldwide celebration that commemorates the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin, as well as the first orbital flight of the US Space Shuttle. Both these pioneering events took place on April 12th – in 1961 and 1981 respectively. As such, our race is always run on, or close to, the 12th April, and is often held in conjunction with a Family Space Day celebration with interactive booths, displays and simple water rocket demonstrations. Yuri’s Night celebrations around the world fuel public interest in space exploration, technology, and the aerospace industry.

Join us on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Crestmont Park for the inaugural Run It Forward 5K, the official launch of what will become an annual signature event for the Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program.
This is more than a race.
It is forward motion in action.
Whether you are a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, a walker, or a family participating together, this event is designed to be welcoming, safe, and community-centered. The 3.1-mile course begins and ends inside Crestmont Park and loops through the surrounding neighborhood, creating a visible and energizing presence in the community we serve.
Why We Run
April is National Financial Literacy Month, and Run It Forward highlights the connection between wellness, discipline, preparation, and long-term success. Just like training for a 5K, building strong futures requires consistency, accountability, and community support.
Proceeds from this race support mentorship, leadership development, scholarships, wellness initiatives, and community service programs serving youth and women across multiple states.

The PEEPS® Kids Dash kicks off the event at 8:00am followed by the 10K at 8:15am and the 5K at 8:20am on Saturday, April 4th at the Addicks Park and Ride right off of I-10 in the Energy Corridor District (Flat and Fast, Out-And-Back Course on Park Row Drive and a short drive from the Houston Inner Loop / Katy).
ALL participants will receive a festive top-notch, Officially Licensed PEEPS® finisher medal, participant bib, and performance tech t-shirt. There will also be an appearance by the PEEPS® chick mascot, the Easter Bunny himself with a kids easter egg hunt area and Post-Race Refreshments including PEEPS® marshmallow candy after you cross the finish line! Race-day activities include a 5K Run, 5K Walk, Family 1K, Survivor Stroll for brain tumor patients, and a lively post-race party for all participants. 5K Run participants are eligible to win awards, given to overall top male and female participants, and those who finish first in age-specific categories. Children receive medals. This is a certified race.

Stop the Silence National African American Breast Cancer 5K Walk/Run is the first and only national breast cancer walk hosted by a black-led organization for black women. The walk is hosted in April to draw attention to National Minority Health Awareness month.
Over the last 15 years, more than 4,000 participants from around the United States travel to Houston, Texas annually to honor and celebrate black women diagnosed with breast cancer. A portion of the funds raised from the Stop the Silence walk benefits Sisters Network Inc. Karen E. Jackson Breast Cancer Assistance Program (BCAP). The national program pays for 3D mammograms for uninsured women and provides financial assistance to breast cancer survivors who are currently in treatment.

"Volunteer then Run" is our highly discounted registration to help with Race Day and Pre-Race Day Packet-Pick-Up, Set-Up and Tear Down. For you speedsters You can run and help with Award Distribution, Finishline photos and Finisher Tent. You can participate in Either the 5k or 10k-Relay events. Simply show up an hour and a half before race start to help and about 15 minutes before race starts, you can join everyone at the starting line for pre-race warmup. Then after you run the race and recover you get to help us hand out awards and refreshments!!

The Joshua Chamberlain Society (“JCS”) is a grass roots, 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt charity that was formed with the mission of providing long term support to veterans from local areas that have sustained permanent combat injuries fighting the long war on terror for our nation. It also provides long term support to the children of local veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice in our service.
Founded in St. Louis, Missouri it has now expanded into additional chapters serving the Nashville, Tennessee and Houston, Texas areas. Each chapter runs independently so donors know their contributions stay with their local JCS Heroes.
When American service members are severely wounded in combat, their lives are changed forever. And when our service members make the ultimate sacrifice, their families need support and security.
With the help of generous donors and fundraising events, we help severely wounded veterans live full, vibrant lives despite their injuries, and we make sure the families of the fallen are provided with support and security for the future.

Every Memoridal Day we meet at the Town Center Park in Kingwood to honor those who gave it all for our freedoms by completing/competing in one of two Hero Races: MURPH / LOREDO, or a Half-Marathon / 5K/10k ... 10 and Under fun: Kids Mini-Salute (short mini hero race).
POST-RACE will end with a Kids and Winners Tug-of-War Competition!!
So, before you fire-up those grills and put on your swim suit, lace-up your kicks and come along side us to raise funds for our awesome Heros/Families and push yourself to a new level of courage.

Volunteer then Run" is our highly discounted registration to help with Race Day and Pre-Race Day Packet-Pick-Up. After Packet Pick-Up is over, you can run and then after help with Award Distribution, Finishline photos and Finisher Tent needs. This option is only available to Loredo and 5k participants. Simply show up an hour and a half before race start to help and about 15 minutes before race starts, you can join everyone at the starting line for pre-race warmup. Then after you run the race and recover you help us hand out awards, refreshments and any post-race needs!!

The event will take place on Saturday, August 9th, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the grass just west of the Tennis Center at Memorial Park. Expect a day filled with fun and enjoyment, including free refreshments such as watermelon, Gatorade, beverages, and live music.
RSVP to help us estimate the refreshments needed for the event. Donations are optional and will be used to fund free events hosted by running clubs collaborating with HARRA. As the umbrella running organization in the Houston area, our goal is to support and highlight running clubs in our community.
Member clubs are also invited to bring their tents for free to showcase their groups. Please check the Tent Space Reservation section for details.

"Volunteer then Run" is our highly discounted registration to help with Race Day and Pre-Race Day Packet-Pick-Up. After Packet Pick-Up is over, you can run and then after help with Award Distribution, Finishline photos and Finisher Tent needs. This option is only available to 5k participants. Simply show up an hour and a half before race start to help and before race starts, you can join everyone at the starting line for pre-race warmup. Then after you run the race and recover you help us hand out awards, refreshments and any post-race needs!!

Lace-up your sneakers and join plastic surgeons, patients, office staff, and supporters from across the globe as we come together to raise awareness and funds for breast reconstruction, charitable care and groundbreaking research.

Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation fuels the Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Campaign of The Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF), empowering us to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
Breast cancer is a devastating disease, affecting approximately 1 in 8 women in the United States. Breast reconstruction is a very personal choice — every woman should have access to her options before she has to make a decision. Profits generated are awarded to organizations focused on awareness and assistance efforts of women fighting breast cancer or pursuing breast reconstructive surgery. Thanks to YOU, The Plastic Surgery Foundation's BRA Program has allocated 188 grants, totaling over $2 million in awards.

The Run for the House is a family-friendly USATF-Certified competitive 5K and non-competitive 1 Miler. Registered participants receive a race shirt, medal, swag bag. After the run, join us at Sam Houston Park for the After Party. Take a selfie with Santa, create awesome crafts, play fun games, refuel with delicious food and drinks, and see if you won an award!

WHY WE RUN: To support families with children receiving care in the Medical Center for a serious illness or injury. We provide a home away from home for these families.
Join us to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston! Founded in 1978, the mission of RMHC Greater Houston is to offer a home away from home providing care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill children being treated in Texas Medical Center member institutions. The House provides a place to find rest and respite, activities, meals, and snacks for our families, at no cost.
We serve children and families at four locations:
Holcombe House - 70 Bedrooms
Texas Children's Hospital - 19 Bedrooms
Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital - 20 Bedrooms
MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital - 2 Bedrooms
In addition to our Houses, RMHC Greater Houston also has a CareMobile that goes to local communities to provide immunizations and well checks for school aged children.

Join us as we celebrate five amazing years of timeless holiday cheer, iconic characters, and heartwarming tradition on Saturday, December 5th at the Addicks Park and Ride right off of I-10 in the Energy Corridor District (Flat and Fast, Out-And-Back Course on Park Row Drive and a short drive from the Houston Inner Loop / Katy). The Snoopy Kids Dash kicks off the event at 8:00am followed by the 10K at 8:15am and the 5K at 8:20am.
ALL participants will receive festive top-notch, Officially Licensed Peanuts® finisher snow globe medal, participant bib, and performance blend t-shirt. There will also be an appearance by Santa and Post-Race Refreshments! So, come out and show everyone your best holiday attire and spirit! This year’s event features a 5K road race and a Kids 1K fun run for even the youngest Astrodome fans. Come dressed in your vintage gear or best Dome wear and stick around after the race to celebrate the Astrodome’s 61st birthday.
