Get ready to start your day with the eighth annual Close the Loop 5K!
Join us in Houston, Texas on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 a.m. CST, as we embark on a morning run/walk during PSTM26. Lace-up your sneakers and join plastic surgeons, patients, office staff, and supporters from across the globe as we come together to raise awareness and funds for breast reconstruction, charitable care and groundbreaking research.
Registration for the Close the Loop 5K will open on May 20, 2026.
As the sun rises, the excitement begins! Starting at 7 a.m., the #BRA5K will take place. Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation fuels the Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Campaign of The Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF), empowering us to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
Breast cancer is a devastating disease, affecting approximately 1 in 8 women in the United States. Breast reconstruction is a very personal choice — every woman should have access to her options before she has to make a decision. Profits generated are awarded to organizations focused on awareness and assistance efforts of women fighting breast cancer or pursuing breast reconstructive surgery. Thanks to YOU, The Plastic Surgery Foundation's BRA Program has allocated 188 grants, totaling over $2 million in awards.
