Run It Forward 5K

Run It Forward. Together Towards Tomorrow.

Join us on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Crestmont Park for the inaugural Run It Forward 5K, the official launch of what will become an annual signature event for the Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program.

This is more than a race.

It is forward motion in action.

Whether you are a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, a walker, or a family participating together, this event is designed to be welcoming, safe, and community-centered. The 3.1-mile course begins and ends inside Crestmont Park and loops through the surrounding neighborhood, creating a visible and energizing presence in the community we serve.

Why We Run

April is National Financial Literacy Month, and Run It Forward highlights the connection between wellness, discipline, preparation, and long-term success. Just like training for a 5K, building strong futures requires consistency, accountability, and community support.

Proceeds from this race support mentorship, leadership development, scholarships, wellness initiatives, and community service programs serving youth and women across multiple states.

When you register, you are helping create access.

When you run, you are helping move someone forward.

Race Day Experience

• Scenic neighborhood loop starting and finishing at Crestmont Park

• Hydration stations along the course

• Finisher medals for all participants

• Awards for top 3 overall finishers

• Music, energy, and community atmosphere

• Post-race celebration before the Crestmont Park Annual Community Fair (1:00–4:00 PM)

Schedule
