Miles for Miracles: 5K for NICU Families

Join us on August 9th for the 2025 edition of Houston Party in the Park presented by HARRA!

This is a free community event. All paces welcome!

The event will take place on Saturday, August 9th, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the grass just west of the Tennis Center at Memorial Park. Expect a day filled with fun and enjoyment, including free refreshments such as watermelon, Gatorade, beverages, and live music.

RSVP to help us estimate the refreshments needed for the event. Donations are optional and will be used to fund free events hosted by running clubs collaborating with HARRA. As the umbrella running organization in the Houston area, our goal is to support and highlight running clubs in our community.

Member clubs are also invited to bring their tents for free to showcase their groups. Please check the Tent Space Reservation section for details.

🌞 Morning Run Schedule – Party in the Park

📍 Meeting Point: All runs start in front of the Party in the Park Arch, unless otherwise noted.

7:00 AM – Houston Harriers 1 Loop Challenge, presented by Coach Andy Stewart’s 30K/10K

Start your morning strong with a group run led by the Houston Harriers.

Note: All participants will get entered into a raffle to win a free entry to the 30K.

7:30 AM - The Woodlands Galloway Training Program

Join The Woodlands Galloway T.P. for a run/walk loop in one or two pace groups:

11:00-13:00 and 14:00-15:00 min/mile.

7:45 AM – Club Open Mic Session I

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen.

TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. All participants registered for the GORUCK division will earn this year's exclusive TMF GORUCK patch. Learn more about GORUCK here.
