The 3rd Annual NYC Stair Set of Doom Ultra isn’t your average race, it’s an adventure through the heart of New York City, where every mile tells a story and every staircase is a challenge. Covering 33+ miles across city streets, parks, and dirt trails, this race gives you a raw, unfiltered experience of the city’s most iconic spots and hidden gems. From historic bridges to winding park paths, you’ll get a tour of NYC like no other.
Here's what you’re up against:
3,500+ feet of elevation that will push your legs to the limit
33 miles through neighborhoods most races never touch
90 stair sets (some massive, some tiny) scattered throughout the course
16 parks where the city’s greenery meets your grit
6 bridges crossing boroughs and bringing you new challenges
4 boroughs to show you the full range of what NYC has to offer
This race is as real as it gets. While we’ll have an aid stations along the way, the Stair Set of Doom is unsanctioned and largely self-supported, meaning you should rely on your own water, fuel and restroom usage (public restrooms will be marked along the route). It’s a grind, but for those who want to experience NYC in the most epic way possible, it’s the ultimate test.

The Van Cortlandt Park 50k
Founded in 2023 this ultramarathon is designed for a novice to be able to safely complete while also remaining challenging for experienced runners to be able to enjoy a fast time testing their endurance. The course is ten loops of the classic cross country course after an initial lap of the flats. There are rocks and roots but they’re not plentiful.
Overall elevation is about 2200ft
The aid station will be fully stocked with water and gatorade, salty and sweet snacks, fruits and more.You’ll also have easy access to any drop bag you want with your personal items/hydration/nutrition no longer than 1.5 miles away at the furthest point.
There are custom medals, a limited edition singlet, a hot meal and a cold beer post race for each finisher
Overall winners will receive a trophy and cash

Run a Mile in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx in an Inflatable Costume.
Only 2 Rules:
Costume must cover your entire body only head and hands/feet can protrude.
You’re required to have the most fun you’ve ever had at a race in your life!!
*Course is completely flat
*Must wear inflatable costume (not provided by organizers)

*Run will take place during the VCP50K ultramarathon
Take on the classic ultra marathon of open water swimming in NYC when you join us for a custom experience swim around Manhattan Island!
Enjoy all 28.5 miles | 45.8 kilometers of your swim in an 8-9 hour timeframe as your crew, observer, and professional photographer watch on from a 30′ vessel with a highly experienced captain and all the amenities.
Friends and family can be a part of the experience as they follow the real time tracking including site specific photos from your route.
