    The JC Valentine's Half Marathon, 10K, 5K takes place in Lincoln Park, a place that is not only historic, it’s beautiful!!! We are proud and excited to hold the 3rd Annual running event to support an incredible non-profit organization, Sustainable Jersey City.

    We’ve created an unforgettable and improved course that includes paved, unrestricted roads, bridges, paths, a lake, and historic monuments. This is going to be a great event that we’re sure will be around for years to come.

    Join us to support this amazing organization that works to educate, empower, and advocate for a more sustainable Jersey City. Run 13.1 Miles, 10K, or 5K on a course with clear markers, tons of support, and a finish line like no other. We can’t wait to make this happen!

    Wait, there’s more…BRUNCH after the race for you and your fans at the newest spectacular event space in Jersey City, THE VIEW. Pay a little extra and you can celebrate in style. It’s just steps from the finish location. Pay when you register or independently at this BRUNCH LINK.

    LOCATION

    • 1 Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07304 (Water Fountain)

    Course (certified measured course)

    • (Half) 4 loops of a 3.27 mile course.

    • (10K) 2 loops of a 3.1 mile course

    • (5K) 1 loop of a 3.1 mile course

    Water Stations

    • There will be water stations about every 1.5 - 2 miles along the course. Besides water, there will be Gatorade and gels.

    Timing

    • Live timing including a split per loop!

    • Live tracking app for friends and family to watch your progress during the race. Also, you can view afterward.

    Technical T-shirt & Bib

    • Male & Female cuts; A4 Technical Running Shirts for each participant.

    • Personalized bib (must register 4 weeks prior) commemorative bib thereafter.

    • Race Day Packet Pick-up: 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 am

    • Bring picture I.D.

    • You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it.

    • Baggage Check-in: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 am

    • Your bib will have a tear-off tag that you will pin to your personal bag.

    • You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from the secure area.

    RACE START: 11:00am.

    • Preliminary Results: posted at around 10:30 a.m.

    • Awards Ceremony: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

    Please join us for the inaugural Run LSP, a free 5k running event at Liberty State Park, organized by the LSP events team in collaboration with the John E. Nagel Foundation, the Friends of Liberty State Park, the Educational Arts Team, and the Paulus Hook Walking Crew.

    The race will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, on a USATF Certified 5k course with picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty! Registrations are limited, so be sure to SIGN UP TODAY!

    All finishers will receive a free John E. Nagel Foundation Runners T-shirt, provided by the John E. Nagel Foundation, as the organization honors the late, great John E. Nagel, who gave so much to the community and contributed to the development of many young athletes in his 46+ years as a coach, educator, mentor, and athletic director.

    The race takes place at beautiful and historic Liberty State Park with picturesque views of the Manhattan Skyline and the Statue of Liberty! The 5k will take place on a USATF certified course.

    Free parking will be available in lots 1, 3, and 4.

Every registration fee and sponsorship dollar goes toward upgrading team equipment, providing travel opportunities, and expanding the competitive programs that define the student-athlete experience at SDA. By running with us, you are ensuring our athletes have the tools they need to train harder, play safer, and represent our school with pride.

    Day of Registration and Packet Pick-Up:

    Online registration is open through race day; however, race-day registration will be $45. Please note that t-shirts are limited for day-of registrants.

    Bib and t-shirt pick-up begins at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the run.
