Course: A scenic 3.1-mile route through the charming streets of River Vale and back to the Sports Complex

Adult Registration: $25

Kids Registration: $15

Price Increase: Registration fees will go up on March 1

Welcome to the 1st Annual Noel O’Malley Memorial 5K & Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run!

Join us in the heart of Northvale for a community-driven event dedicated to honoring the memory of Noel O’Malley and supporting critical cancer research. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a weekend jogger, or bringing the family for a morning of movement, this race is designed for everyone.

About the Course: Our 5K route winds through the streets of Northvale on a relatively flat, fast, and runner-friendly road course. Perfect for setting a personal record or simply enjoying a relaxed run with friends and neighbors. USATF Certified course.

Fun for All Ages: In addition to the 5K, all are invited to participate in a 1-Mile Fun Run—a great way to introduce young runners to the joy of racing in a supportive, upbeat environment.

What You Get: All registrants will receive a race bib, and the first 200 participants will get an exclusive event T-shirt, perfect for remembering the day and showing support.

The proceeds of this year's event will benefit cervical cancer research taking place at the Hackensack Meridian Center for Discovery and Innovation (CDI), an advanced research institution founded by Hackensack Meridian Health to rapidly translate innovations in biomedical science to improve human health. CDI's cervical cancer research program is dedicated to the development of new diagnostic technologies for early detection and improved treatment for women with cervical cancers.

Volunteers are needed! Please select the volunteer tab from the menu to register to be a volunteer. Volunteers will receive a letter of verification for service hours upon request. Hours are 7 a.m.-11 a.m.

The 2026 Unified 5k and AdaptXpo is an inclusive road race and adaptive sports expo designed so that everyone can participate, whether they run, walk, row, or roll. The event raises critical funds for AdaptX education, research, community events, fitness programming, and grant initiatives. The Unified 5k is a space where athletes with and without disabilities show up together, challenge perceptions, and prove that fitness and sport are more meaningful when everyone has a place at the starting line.

Join us on May 3rd at Push to Walk for our 1st annual event where you can walk, run, roll, or row either the 5k (3.1 mile) or 1 mile course. Arrive early or hang around after the event to check out our vendors and clinics at the AdaptXpo, a celebration of organizations that focus on health, inclusion, accessibility, assistive technology, and adaptive sports.

Midland Park, NJ #LightUpMBC COLOR Walk ​May 31, 2026 Join us May 31 for an unforgettable event the whole family will enjoy! The festivities will feature a 1-mile color run/walk (no experience necessary). The event will start with a Color Blaze color-powder toss, and then participants will pass through pink, teal and green color stations where they will be sprayed with Color Blaze color powder by volunteers. There will also be a DJ, food, giveaways, and fun children's activities. We hope to see you at this meaningful event to raise funds to find a cure for metastatic breast cancer. There are several ways to get involved in this event: 1. Register to participate in this event. You have the option to participate individually, create a team or join an existing team. 2.
