Join us in the heart of Northvale for a community-driven event dedicated to honoring the memory of Noel O’Malley and supporting critical cancer research. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a weekend jogger, or bringing the family for a morning of movement, this race is designed for everyone.
About the Course: Our 5K route winds through the streets of Northvale on a relatively flat, fast, and runner-friendly road course. Perfect for setting a personal record or simply enjoying a relaxed run with friends and neighbors. USATF Certified course.

The proceeds of this year's event will benefit cervical cancer research taking place at the Hackensack Meridian Center for Discovery and Innovation (CDI), an advanced research institution founded by Hackensack Meridian Health to rapidly translate innovations in biomedical science to improve human health. CDI's cervical cancer research program is dedicated to the development of new diagnostic technologies for early detection and improved treatment for women with cervical cancers.

The 2026 Unified 5k and AdaptXpo is an inclusive road race and adaptive sports expo designed so that everyone can participate, whether they run, walk, row, or roll. The event raises critical funds for AdaptX education, research, community events, fitness programming, and grant initiatives. The Unified 5k is a space where athletes with and without disabilities show up together, challenge perceptions, and prove that fitness and sport are more meaningful when everyone has a place at the starting line.

Midland Park, NJ #LightUpMBC COLOR Walk May 31, 2026 Join us May 31 for an unforgettable event the whole family will enjoy! The festivities will feature a 1-mile color run/walk (no experience necessary). The event will start with a Color Blaze color-powder toss, and then participants will pass through pink, teal and green color stations where they will be sprayed with Color Blaze color powder by volunteers. There will also be a DJ, food, giveaways, and fun children's activities. We hope to see you at this meaningful event to raise funds to find a cure for metastatic breast cancer. There are several ways to get involved in this event: 1. Register to participate in this event. You have the option to participate individually, create a team or join an existing team. 2. Closter's Dom Mircovich Memorial 5K - 45th Annual & Jim O'Halloran Kids Fun Run
Now in its 45th year, the 5k and Fun Run events will be held on its traditional Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Both events will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The Closter 5k is the longest running, continuous 5k in the Northern Valley. We've got the prettiest course around!
Please note that this year's town celebration ("NOT" Labor Day celebration) is scheduled for 6 September. See the Closter Recreation Commission site for more info. This year's town celebration will not coincide with the 5K and Fun Run.

Our Fall Spectacular event includes a 5K Run/Walk for all ages, a Mile Fun Run for ages 9 and under, and a Kiddie Dash for ages 6 and under. The 5K course is a USATF Certified, relatively flat road course through scenic Harrington Park, NJ. Race results will be posted with both gun time and chip time, gun time will determine all award results.
