TIME: Start at 8:00 AM. Arrive early to check in, mingle with our sponsors, and connect with fellow participants and neighbors in a glowing celebration.

Course Description: Step into action at Kiwanis Park in your EMS gear for a cause that truly matters. The Arizona Trauma Association invites you to participate in our annual Tackle Trauma 5K Race and Fundraiser, where every stride you take helps save lives and raise awareness about trauma.

Virtual Participation: Can't make it to Tempe? No problem! Join us virtually and complete your 5K wherever you are. You'll still be part of the excitement and contribute to this important cause. Virtual participants will receive a race packet, including a neon-themed t-shirt and race bib.

Why Participate? Trauma doesn't discriminate. It can affect anyone, causing lifelong suffering and burdening our healthcare system. Shockingly, traumatic injuries are the leading cause of death for children and adults up to age 46. This is a pressing public health issue that demands our attention!

We believe in providing the best care for injured patients through an inclusive and integrated trauma system. Your participation in our annual fundraiser fuels injury prevention, education, and research efforts to reduce fatalities in our great state.

Awards

Awards will be given to the 1st place only for the following age groups for male and female.

• 19 and under

• 20-29

• 30-39

• 40-49

• 50-59

• 60-69

• 70 and over

• Check-in starts at 8:00 AM and the race begins at 9:00 AM.

• The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly, but all pets must remain leashed at all times.

• This is a certified 5K with professional timing. All results will be posted immediately after the race.

• To guarantee your Cupid's Chase shirt, please register by January 1, 2026; after that date, shirts will be available while supplies last.

• Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and drawstring bag, available while supplies last.

• Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.

• Age group medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in each of the following 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over.

• This is a rain or shine event. All registration fees are non-refundable.

Suzy Foundation is hosting its 5th annual 'All Abilities 5K' on February 15, 2026 starting at 9am at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Arizona.

Our 5K allows all participants, regardless of ability, to have fun, exercise, and help make a difference in our community.

How it Works:

• Arrive Early to Demo the All-New On Cloudmonster 3 & Cloudrunner 3 - Collect Raffle Tickets

• At 6:00p - Run to as many checkpoints as possible, collecting raffle tickets along the way

• Return to The Shop by 7:00p to put all your raffle tickets into the drawing

Running Route & Directions:

This is an Adventure-Run style event, meaning there is no set route. For those who register early, you will receive the map of all checkpoints in your inbox by 4:30p. This gives you an hour to plan the best route and collect as many raffle tickets as possible! For those who do not register early, you will receive the checkpoints on-site at 5:55p.

Checkpoints will be scattered around Downtown Tempe & Tempe Town Lake - highlighting all the amazing local businesses we have here in our city! Some of the further checkpoints will have 2-3 raffle tickets, so plan your route wisely!

For the efficient route runners, it is possible to hit 90-100% of the checkpoints.

For those running more casually, you can expect to hit 60-80% of the checkpoints.

Raffle tickets will also be awarded to those who demo a pair of Brooks Running Shoes & Meet with our Balega Sock Rep!

Parking:

Parking will be limited at The Shop, so we recommend the free street parking along W 1st St between Beck & Farmer Ave.

The Rules:

• Hydrate! We will have water & Electrolyte Drink for you before the run

• Obey all traffic laws as you run from checkpoint to checkpoint. This is not a closed course

• No scooters, bikes, skateboards or other modes of transportation allowed

• Have fun and be respectful of others!

• Interact with our vendors and buy some beer and/or food - they help make this all possible!

Get ready to move with purpose at the Hope in Motion 5K + Block Party on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Tempe! This family-friendly, inclusive event brings the community together to support UMOM New Day Centers and its mission to end homelessness by restoring hope and rebuilding lives.

Participants can choose a chip-timed 5K run or a relaxed 1K fun run/walk, making it perfect for runners, walkers, families, and all fitness levels. Every step helps provide shelter, housing, and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

After crossing the finish line, stick around for the block party, featuring games and inflatables, food and drinks from Helpings Café, face painting, photo ops, and fun for all ages. Whether you join as an individual or a team, you’ll be part of a powerful movement creating real change.

Join us for our 5th Annual Run for Autism Event – A community awareness & acceptance event to support Arizona Autism United, an organization providing services to local families living with autism and other developmental disabilities since 2006. With an alarming rate of 1 in 31 children in the U.S. with a diagnosis of autism, your support is critical! Register to run, walk or enjoy the side games and activities that we will have available for attendees. You can also create a team and invite your family members and friends. This is also a great team building opportunity for your company staff while supporting Arizona families living with autism. Everyone is welcome! 100% of the proceeds will go to programs for families in need.

Miles for Migraine will host its 10th annual 2-mile Walk, 5K Run and Relax Arizona event on Saturday March 14th at Kiwanis Park in Tempe. This event is a fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research. It's more than a walk/run - come connect with your local migraine & headache community, listen to our speakers & visit sponsors in the festival area.

The 5K run is professionally timed. The Walk and the Relax events are free, but donations are encouraged. All walk and run finishers receive a finisher medal.

Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? This year will feature a May the Fourth Be With You Virtual. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event shirt. Please note that your shirt and medal will be mailed out following the event on May 3, 2026. Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.

Join us as we kick-off the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series with our first leg at Kiwanis Park!

This event features a 5K distance and is limited to 700 participants.

Get points for every event you complete, with extra points being awarded based on your age group and overall finish. Of course we want you to participate in the Arizona Sunrise Series locally but we understand things come up. So, if you can't join us at Kiwanis Park and still want to run, get the medal and a shirt then you still can! Here is your chance to take part in this event no matter where you are! And of course, all prices include shipping! Please note that all items will ship following the first event on May 16th. Because this is part of a series you will receive the main medal plus the attachment for this event only. You will not receive all 7 attachments. Starting Options:

Participants will have 2 options to start the race:

• First, Registration/Check-In will open at 5:30am. From 5:30-6:15am there will be an open start line. Meaning you can start whenever you would like during that time frame.

• Second, we will have a traditional mass start at 6:30am. There will be no option to start after 6:30am.

• You do not need to inform us of which option you are choosing. These options are meant to give you more flexibility of choosing when you start.
