We’re thrilled to celebrate 20 incredible years of Walk the Fight & Run the Distance—an inspiring event supporting the community outreach and wellness programs of the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.

• Fun Walk (2 Blocks) – Short, sweet, and perfect for all ages!

• 4K Walk (2.8 miles) – Take in the atmosphere and enjoy the route at your own pace.

• 5K Timed Run (3.2 miles) – For those who want to go the distance and race for a reason!

Parking

Free Parking is available in various parking lots throughout Tempe Town Lake Marina and on-site at Hundred Mile Brewing. Additional overflow parking can be found at the Watermark Parking Garage.

The Pat Tillman Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Chicago, and since 2009 has invested over $40 million into the academic and leadership development of nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars - Military Veterans, Service Members, and spouses who are making an impact across the country. Get ready to move with purpose at the Hope in Motion 5K + Block Party on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Tempe! This family-friendly, inclusive event brings the community together to support UMOM New Day Centers and its mission to end homelessness by restoring hope and rebuilding lives.

Participants can choose a chip-timed 5K run or a relaxed 1K fun run/walk, making it perfect for runners, walkers, families, and all fitness levels. Every step helps provide shelter, housing, and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

After crossing the finish line, stick around for the block party, featuring games and inflatables, food and drinks from Helpings Café, face painting, photo ops, and fun for all ages. Whether you join as an individual or a team, you’ll be part of a powerful movement creating real change.

Join us for our 5th Annual Run for Autism Event – A community awareness & acceptance event to support Arizona Autism United, an organization providing services to local families living with autism and other developmental disabilities since 2006. With an alarming rate of 1 in 31 children in the U.S. with a diagnosis of autism, your support is critical! Register to run, walk or enjoy the side games and activities that we will have available for attendees. You can also create a team and invite your family members and friends. This is also a great team building opportunity for your company staff while supporting Arizona families living with autism. Everyone is welcome! 100% of the proceeds will go to programs for families in need.

Miles for Migraine will host its 10th annual 2-mile Walk, 5K Run and Relax Arizona event on Saturday March 14th at Kiwanis Park in Tempe. This event is a fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research. It's more than a walk/run - come connect with your local migraine & headache community, listen to our speakers & visit sponsors in the festival area.

The 5K run is professionally timed. The Walk and the Relax events are free, but donations are encouraged. All walk and run finishers receive a finisher medal.

Dress up in your best purple flair for a chance at a fun prize!

Funds raised will benefit Miles for Migraine free programs & services as well as the Mayo Clinic Arizona, Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children's Hospital and Lewis Headache Center at Barrow Neurological Institute to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs.

Pat’s Run, a 4.2 mile run/walk fuels scholarships and leadership development for nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars, service members, veterans and military spouses who carry forward his values of scholarship, humble leadership, service, and real-world impact.

Pat’s Run is the signature fundraiser for the Pat Tillman Foundation and directly supports our Tillman Scholars.

Each year, tens of thousands of runners come together to honor Pat Tillman’s legacy. All race proceeds are directly invested in Tillman Scholars.
