    Julies Story

Julie was someone who brought warmth, kindness, and love into every room she entered. She was a devoted wife to her husband Douglas, a loving and proud mother to her children Mikey and Amelia, and a person whose presence made others feel instantly comfortable and cared for.

Family meant everything to Julie. She shared a deep love not only for her own children, but also for her nieces, embracing them with the same affection, patience, and joy that defined who she was. She also had a special love for animals, reflecting her gentle heart and her instinct to care for all living things.

Julie was known for her great sense of humor and her ability to find light even in difficult moments. One of her favorite mantras, “Life is good,” perfectly captured the way she approached each day — with optimism, gratitude, and an appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Julie’s passing left a profound and lasting impact on her family and all who loved her. While she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on through the people she touched, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely.

A Walk for Julie was created to honor her life, celebrate her memory, and bring people together in the same spirit of love, kindness, and community that Julie embodied. By walking together, we remember Julie with gratitude — grateful for the love she gave, the joy she brought, and the reminder she left us all that life truly is good.
