Join Project Zero's mission to raise awareness about adoption, build hope in kids and teens waiting in foster care to be adopted and connect forever families in Arkansas. Our goal is simple, to fight for those children and advocate for them to find the right forever family, until there are ZERO waiting children in Arkansas.
In the state of Arkansas alone, there are over 3,200 kids waiting in foster care. Through no fault of their own, nearly 150 of those children and teens have had their parental rights terminated and are waiting to be adopted. We believe there are NO unwanted children, just unfound families and we are passionate about finding them!
YOU MUST REGISTER BY OCTOBER 15th TO GUARANTEE RACE T-SHIRT & MEDALS! Register NOW, before it's too late! Medals will be given out for the 5K & the 1 mile fun run!

This option allows you all the fun with no fuss. You will not receive a shirt or medal as it is too pricey to ship.

Local folklore speaks of Sasquatch sightings during the early history of Little Rock AR. Through the mid to late 1800’s, several different companies harvested the forests that later became Hillcrest and the Heights neighborhoods and Allsopp Park. Loggers would tell tales of "huge, man-like beasts" roaming the woods at night. Since the dedication of Allsopp Park in 1931 and the development of surrounding areas, Sasquatch sightings have decreased but do persist. There have been multiple unconfirmed Sasquatch sightings in this area since 1932. Others believe the majority of the Sasquatch population migrated to Miller County and are now known as the “Fouke Monster”.
“Squatch Till You Drop” is a trail running event at Allsopp Park South that pays tribute to this legend. Participants will traverse these Sasquatch habitats on technical single track that will challenge even the fittest of runners. This course isn’t a “walk in the park”.
The 2026 Squatch event will take place over 2 days. The Fun Run is scheduled for 11/7/26. Packet pick-up will be on 11/6/26 from 4pm-6pm. Day-of packet pick-up will start at 7am and go to 9:15am. The Fun Run will begin promptly at 10am and go to 12pm. Lunch will be provided starting at 11am. All runners will receive a custom made finisher medal. The top male and female finishers will receive "Top Squatch" award. There will be a raffle for prizes at the awards presentation. Runners must be present to will.
The Squatch (6 hour Ultra) will take place on 11/8/26. Packet pick-up will be on 11/6/26 from 4pm-6pm. Day of packet pick-up will start at 6:30am and go to 7:30am. The Squatch will start promptly at 8am and go to 2pm. Lunch will be provided starting at 12pm. All runners will receive a custom made finisher medal. Age group awards and "Top Squatch" awards will be presented as soon as results are ready. There will be a raffle for prizes at the awards presentation. Runners must be present to will.
Both the Fun Run and The Squatch use the same 5k course.
Do you have what it takes to “Squatch Till You Drop”? Register today and on November 7th & 8th take on the challenge!
NEW FOR 2026: Take on The Double Dare! The Double Dare has you running both the Fun Run AND the 6 hour Ultra. Those who dare to do The Double will receive a special award at Sunday's award presentations and can also compete for age group awards or the Top Squatch honors.

There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for each category and overall Female and Male winners. We will have winners for Most Glasses Donated, Most Festive, Largest Group, and Best Dressed Pet. This is an annual trail race in memory of Curtis Colt Childress, who was killed in a motorcycle accident on September 26, 2024. The race distances are 10, 4, and 1 miles through the trails at Woolly Hollow State Park. All proceeds will go to the Cabugcayan Mission/Biliran Church of Christ in the Philippines, which is where Curtis's wife, Ruby, and daughter, Curtlyn, live. Donations are appreciated!
The Triple C takes place on the first Saturday of December because Curtis was born on December 6th. Curtis loved children and never met a stranger in his life, so the 1 mile fun run/walk is set up for children or anyone else who doesn't want to run or just wants a short trail experience.
The 10 miles course takes place along a short paved section at the back of the park and follows the Enders Fault Mountain Bike Trail, ending at the top of the dirt access road in the Enders Fault gravel parking lot. The 4 miles course begins on the paved road by the pavilion, follows the Huckleberry Trail through the woods and along a short section of the main paved road, runs by the falls, around the lake, up the dirt access road, and finishes in the Enders Fault gravel parking lot. The 1 mile course begins on pavement just past the pavilion, runs through the gravel Enders Fault parking lot, down the dirt access road with a turnaround back to the finish in the gravel parking lot. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers of the 10 and 4 miles courses.
This race is great for beginner trail runners, those more experienced runners who want to hit a PR on shorter courses, anyone looking to get in a solid training race for something bigger, and anyone else who just wants to support our cause by spending some time in nature and getting awesome swag, to boot! We hope to see everyone out there with us, can’t wait to meet new faces, and are so excited to be honoring the memory of Curtis by doing something he loved in the Park that was an integral part of his life.
Woolly Hollow is a leave no trace state park. Trash bags will be available at aid stations, and there will be two, one on the 10 miler around 4.5 miles and on the 4 miler before the waterfall. Please stash your trash!
IN-PERSON REGISTRATIONS AFTER 11/8/25 WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT. VIRTUAL REGISTRATIONS AFTER 11/8/25 WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT OR MEDAL. Virtual packets will be mailed after the final completion date of 12/31/26.
