Welcome to the Pie Ride!

Keo, Arkansas • Saturday, December 5, 2026

Nestled in Southern Lonoke County (SoLoCo), Keo is a bike-friendly town of just 207 residents that knows how to roll out the welcome mat. We’re glad you’re here to ride, celebrate, and of course—eat pie!

Start Line

The ride begins at 10:00 AM sharp from the Keo Airstrip on Pecan Road. The airstrip is located just half a mile east of town at the intersection of Pecan Road and Cemetery Road.

Packet Pickup

  • When: Wednesday, December 2

  • Where: Moody Brews 414 E. 21st Street, Pettaway Square, Little Rock, AR.

  • Time: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Your packet includes your rider bag, which doubles as a drop bag on ride day.

Ride Morning

  • Check-In: Look for the Keo Collective at the Airstrip. They’ll get you to the start line on the runway. *Note, there will be a single toilet available at the Airstrip, please plan accordingly, extra facilities available a half mile west at the Festival.

  • Drop Bags: Write your name clearly on your bag and place any post-ride clothes or gear inside. Volunteers will transport it to the official Finish Line in downtown Keo at the Arkansas Pecan Festival.

Finish Line Celebration

The ride officially ends in Keo, right in the heart of the Arkansas Pecan Festival. Secure your bike in the secure bike area, grab a Moody Brews pour, and savor your well-earned slice of pecan pie. Stick around to enjoy the festival’s car show, vendors, entertainment, and holiday cheer.

Important Note: Riders registering the morning of the event are not guaranteed pie after the ride.

After the Festival

When you’ve had your fill of pie and fun, noodle back at your own pace to the Keo Airstrip to retrieve your vehicle. Don’t forget to collect your drop bag with your kit, helmet, and shoes before heading out.

“Major Taylor 111 at the Port” is a cycling event created by the Major Taylor Cycling Club of Little Rock (MTCCLR).

MT111 will become one of the most sought after cycling events in the country.

Supported by the Little Rock Port Authority, local cyclists and bike enthusiasts from around the country will want to attend for the unique aspects of this ride with a Major Taylor flavor.

On June 13th, starting at the Little Rock Port Authority headquarters, participants will ride through the Port, visit Wrightsville, Redfield and continue to Pine Bluff. Riders then proceed to the Arkansas River crossing on Highway 79, visit England, Keo and Scott before returning to the Port. The route is one hundred and eleven miles long with shorter out and back options of 62 miles, 50 miles and 25 miles. There will also be a one mile sprint segment honoring the race that made Marshall “Major” Taylor a world champion. Sprint through the one mile Strava segment and compare your time to Major Taylor's winning world record that he set for the 1-mile distance, paced, from a standing start, on Aug. 27, 1898, at the Manhattan Beach track in Brooklyn, N.Y. It was his first official world record..

This ride will benefit underserved communities. The Major Taylor Cycling Club members will visit schools, educate students about bicycles, distribute free bicycles from RB4K and hand out books about U.S. pro rider Marshall “Major” Taylor. This not only promotes a healthy lifestyle, but provides a means to exercise for the youth in the state of Arkansas.

In addition, this ride will allow MTCCLR to continue to purchase and install bicycle repair stations at the schools, which helps the community where the bike stations are placed, and helps the cycling community as a whole. Last year the MTCCLR installed a bicycle repair stand and air pump at the Brooks Library in Wrightsville. MTCCLR also had a dedication for the repair stand at the library, grilled hotdogs and hamburgers for the neighborhood, gave away bicycles and helmets, and donated multiple copies of the Major Taylor book Major Taylor, World Cycling Champion.

Partnering with the businesses located in the Port of Little Rock, the MT111 will establish a sense of community with the Port, with cyclists and the people that visit Little Rock for this event.

MTCCLR Mission Statement: The Major Taylor Cycling Club of Little Rock shall promote cycling as Recreation and Transportation, promote Physical Fitness, foster Community and Camaraderie, commit to Inclusivity and Support, engage in Charitable Initiatives and offer Educational Outreach.

This ride serves as a fundraiser that supports community events and children’s literacy initiatives. We truly appreciate your registration and hope you will continue to support our organization in the future.
