Adventure Awaits in Every Mile: Kawartha Lakes Classic
Get ready to ride in one of Southern Ontario’s most inspiring cycling events — the 23rd Annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour. This isn’t just an amazing ride — it’s a movement! A celebration of community, compassion, and the sheer joy of cycling through the stunning landscapes of Kawartha Lakes.
Why It Matters
Last year, over 170 riders pedaled with purpose, raising more than $44,000 to support A Place Called Home - an emergency shelter in Lindsay, ON that provides hope and housing for those experiencing homelessness in Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County. Every kilometer you ride helps change lives.
What’s Waiting for You
Variety of scenic routes for all skill levels, crafted by members of the Kawartha Cycling Club to maximize fun
Fully supported routes with refreshment-stocked rest stops and motorcycle support for rider safety
Complimentary lunch from Boston Pizza - Lindsay to refuel and reconnect
Comfortable venue at the Oakwood Lion’s Mariposa Community Hall in Oakwood, ON
Friendly faces, community spirit, and unforgettable memories
Fundraising incentives that celebrate your impact!
Participants who raise or donate $150 will receive a Canadian‑made long‑sleeve Kawartha Lakes Classic shirt crafted from sustainable hemp as a thank-you. Every dollar goes to A Place Called Home to support those experiencing homelessness in our community.
Whether you're riding solo, with family, or as part of a team — this is your chance to make an impact while doing what you love.
Let’s ride for A Place Called Home!
