Adventure Awaits in Every Mile: Kawartha Lakes Classic

Get ready to ride in one of Southern Ontario’s most inspiring cycling events — the 23rd Annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour. This isn’t just an amazing ride — it’s a movement! A celebration of community, compassion, and the sheer joy of cycling through the stunning landscapes of Kawartha Lakes.

Why It Matters

Last year, over 170 riders pedaled with purpose, raising more than $44,000 to support A Place Called Home - an emergency shelter in Lindsay, ON that provides hope and housing for those experiencing homelessness in Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County. Every kilometer you ride helps change lives.

What’s Waiting for You

  • Variety of scenic routes for all skill levels, crafted by members of the Kawartha Cycling Club to maximize fun

  • Fully supported routes with refreshment-stocked rest stops and motorcycle support for rider safety

  • Complimentary lunch from Boston Pizza - Lindsay to refuel and reconnect

  • Comfortable venue at the Oakwood Lion’s Mariposa Community Hall in Oakwood, ON

  • Friendly faces, community spirit, and unforgettable memories

Fundraising incentives that celebrate your impact!

Participants who raise or donate $150 will receive a Canadian‑made long‑sleeve Kawartha Lakes Classic shirt crafted from sustainable hemp as a thank-you. Every dollar goes to A Place Called Home to support those experiencing homelessness in our community.

Whether you're riding solo, with family, or as part of a team — this is your chance to make an impact while doing what you love.

Let’s ride for A Place Called Home!

Half Marathon, 10K and 5K in beautiful Fenelon Falls!

Fenelon Falls is known as the "Jewel of the Kawarthas". Run from Garnet Graham Beach Park along the Victoria Trail. The route takes you on a scenic run alongside waterfront, parks and nature. Just like the other events by Endurance Event Productions are known for, this course is FAST, FLAT and SCENIC. Come prepared to have fun and run a personal best!

    Start times:

    Half Marathon: 7:30am

    10km: 7:40am

    5km: 7:45am

Finishers will receive a finishers medal and custom event shirt.

Save 10% by registering 5-10 people on the same transaction.

Save 15% by registering 11-20 people on the same transaction.

Due to the nature of the course and narrow roads, along with insurance requirements, strollers and dogs are not allowed in the event.

*The cut-off time is 3 hours 30 minutes after the start of the half marathon.

    Race Kit / Bib Numbers

Everyone MUST have a bib number and timing chip in order to take part in the event. This comes with your registration. Kit pick-up locations are listed below.

Race day Kit Pick up is available ONLY for those who have purchased the VIP Kit Pick Up Ticket through Race Roster (available through the "store" link)

Mail out race kits are also available for those who wish to get their bib mailed to them. This option can be purchased through Race Roster during registration or through the "store" link afterwards.

    Three Options for Kit Pick-up

    Lindsay - Monday June 8 4:00 - 7:00 pm @ Crossfit Lindsay, 205 St George Street, Lindsay

    Toronto - Thursday June 11 4:00 - 7:00 pm @ Culture Athletics, 972 Queen St E, Toronto

Fenelon Falls - Saturday June 13 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, Location TBD

You may arrange for a friend to pick up your kit for you, provided you signed your waiver when you registered and you have given them permission by email (that they can show us) to pick up for you.

    Aid Stations

There will be aid stations serving water and XACT electrolyte drink approximately every 2.5 - 3.0 km on the course. XACT energy bars will be available at the half marathon turn aid station. Runners should carry their own nutrition and deposit any garbage at the aid stations. Please do not leave your garbage on the road or anywhere else along the course - the community supports this event and we want to keep it that way. Be respectful and keep your garbage with you until you get to an aid station, where you can dispose it. Portable toilets will be available at each aid station and at the half marathon turn around.

    Race Day Parking

DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE RIGHT TO THE RACE SITE. You may be stuck and not be able to get out. Park off site and walk in.

Option A - A generous amount of parking is available on race day at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre, 27 Veterans Way, Fenelon Falls, K0M 1N0. It is a 20 minute walk to Garnet Graham Beach Park, past White Cottage Cafe and Tim Hortons and over the bridge with a spectacular view of the famous falls over Lock #34.

Option B & C - There are a few lots available in the ‘downtown’ area of Fenelon Falls closer to Garnet Graham Beach Park with access off Francis Street or Bond Street, and some street parking. Traffic may become backed up along these streets so be patient. Please do NOT try to access the parking at Garnet Graham Beach Park or drop off runners by passing through as the lot is reserved for crew, volunteers, race vehicles and vendors.

Note: Do NOT try and access Garnet Graham Park via Water Street. Sometimes your GPS will take you that way - Water Street is a DEAD END and you CANNOT park there - and you may get stuck in there as there is not much space to turn around and have traffic going both ways. So do NOT turn onto Water Street in Fenelon Falls at any time.

Please expect a LOT of traffic coming into town on race day and plan to arrive EARLY and stay calm.

    Hotels

There are many types of accommodations in the Fenelon Falls and Lindsay area. There are hotels, cottage resorts, and cottage rentals.

For more information see our website:

    https://enduranceeventproductions.com/

Cancellation Policy: No cancellations or refunds. If there is a government or public health order that causes the event to be canceled or a weather or other reason that forces cancellation, you may do the race as a virtual event. There will be no deferrals or refunds. Transfers between distances or to another runner are allowed until June 7, 2026 and can be done though the “transfer” link on the race roster page. There will be a $5.00 administration fee for transfer.

    Weather Policy:

Safety always comes first, and Athletics Ontario sets rules and policies that outline when an event must be delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather. In the case of inclement weather that forces our race directors to cancel an event, there will be no refunds. In the case of a weather cancellation, by that time a large portion of the race fees have already been allocated. Registered participants will still receive their race shirt. Thank you for understanding these policies.
