    The Campbell Valley 5 and 10 K Trail Run is the second event of the 2026 Fraser Valley Trail Run Series. Run either a fun 5 K or two loop 10 K route in beautiful Campbell Valley Regional Park. Expect some short steep hills, possible mud sections, great views and lots of run around every corner! This run is capped to 120 runners due to parking limitations. If you come, please try to carpool to the race. Note once we have 120 runners registered no more will be allowed to join so register soon!!

    The Aldergrove Ramble 4.8 and 8 K trail run is the third event of the 2026 Fraser Valley Trail Run Series. Run either a fun 4.8 K or challenging 8 K route in beautiful Aldergrove Regional Park.     Peninsula Runners is excited to offer a spring 2026 Learn-to-Run (001) & Run Easy (101) and a Run Stronger (201 group) starting January 21st to April 15. This will be a great way to get ready to run a Spring 5 or 10 K run (SUN RUN 2026 is April 19) or to just improve your health and fitness while having fun in a safe group setting! At the end of the session on April 15th we will all do a 5 K timed run where you predict your finish time and we see who gets the closest.

    We strongly believe that outdoor exercise in a group setting is important for both our physical and mental health!!

    The groups will meet in front of our Langley store at 6:00 pm every Wednesday night for 13 weeks from January 21st to April 15th. Cost is $60 plus GST which includes a Pen Runners run shirt. Anyone with an interest in improving their fitness and learning more about the walking, jogging and running in a fun and social atmosphere is qualified to join. The goal for spring 2026 is to get outside and learn to run or get back into it again. Running is a very healthy activity for us and our goal is to help you become healthier and happier.

    This spring we are offering three programs: Learn-to-Run (001), Run Easy (101) & Run Stronger (201) groups which will offer a safe and gradual introduction to improved your fitness in a safe and healthy environment. Each session features the ‘Walk-Jog-Run’ progression (or for the 201 a different workout each week) until you’re finally walking fast or running strong for 40 minutes+, 3-4 times per week... at a pace that will allow you to walk or run a 8 to 10k or more with comfort & confidence!! Group 001 is best or those who have never run before or not for a LONG time. Group 101 will transition quicker to jogging and running. While the 201 is for those already running 30 minutes at a time but wanting to become stronger and faster.

    Peninsula Runners Langley Spring 2026 Half and Full Marathon run group AKA the 301 group meets twice a week on Saturday mornings and also Wednesday nights. The first Saturday being January 10th and the first Wednesday is January 7th, 2026. This session is geared towards the BMO Half and Full Marathon on May 3, 2025. We will help get you to the starting line ready and eager to finish strongly. Peninsula Runners has been successfully running run groups since we first opened in 2001. Everyone is welcome to join us.

    Long runs are Saturday at 7 AM (7.30 AM for the first six weeks) while the Wednesday workouts start at either 5.15 or 6.00. Wednesdays are key workouts to help you become a stronger more complete runner. You should be able to run at least 40 minutes for the half or 60 minutes for the marathon before the first long run.

    FYI we also have a power walking group heading out on Saturdays for those who prefer to walk either a 10 K (Sun Run) or a half marathon.

    Cost of the program is $100 for the spring (or ask at the store about our yearly option). This includes both weekly runs and also a 15% discount on purchases at the store. You will receive two weekly emails from the store and a program outline to help guide you through the program. All runners will receive a Pen Runners shirt to run in.

    Running can be challenging and fun at the same time. One of the keys to running with a group like this is that you have others to run with and help you stay motivated and get a little more out of yourself. Our goal is to help prepare you to enjoy running and to finish your goal race.

    The Valley GranFondo was established as community centric cycling event with a focus on fundraising and growing the sport of cycling in BC. The event has continued to grow each year and we're excited to be back in Fort Langley again with an expanded charity program.

    Riders have access to fully stocked aid stations, on-course medical and mechanical support, and a professionally managed course. After your ride, celebrate at the legendary post-ride festival at Eagle Acres Dairy Farm —featuring burgers and beverages, live music, games, SWAG, prizes, massages, and of course... farm animals!


    Our Rides

    Applewood Auto Group 120km GranFondo:

    Kick off your GranFondo season with our longest and most rewarding route. The Applewood Auto Group 120km GranFondo takes you through the scenic Fraser Valley, where rolling hills and steady climbs keep things exciting. This route has 5 aid stations.

    85km MedioFondo:

    The 85km MedioFondo offers a blend of challenge and fun, winding through the scenic terrain of Langley and Abbotsford. You’ll conquer a few climbs and rolling hills. This route has 4 aid stations.

    50km PrestoFondo:

    Ideal for newcomers or riders looking for a relaxed yet rewarding experience, the 50km PrestoFondo welcomes all bike types and abilities. Enjoy gentle rolling terrain and scenic views. This route has 1 aid station.

    20km FamilyFondo:

    The 20km FamilyFondo is a fun, easygoing ride through Fort Langley, perfect for families and new cyclists. This flat, well-marked route completes an out and back through Fort Langley with the start and finish at Eagle Acres Dairy Farm.

    Please note: there are no aid stations on this route.

    This clinic will meet at our Langley store at 6:00 pm every Wednesday night for 9 weeks from May 6 until Sunday July 5th. Cost is $60! Anyone with an interest in improving their fitness and learning more about the sport of fitness - walking, jogging and running in a fun and social atmosphere is qualified to join. We offer three distinct program-levels for everyone.

    The Learn-to-Run - 001 and 101 & Run Easy 201 programs offer a safe and gradual introduction to improved fitness and fun race-event preparation. The Run Easy club will achieve more ambitious, steady training runs. Each session features the ‘Walk-Jog-Run’ technical progression, until you’re finally running strong for 45 minutes+, 3-4 times per week... at a pace that will allow you to walk or run a 5k - 10k event with comfort and flare!!

    Some people want to relieve stress or lose weight on the way to improving their ability to run safely and better every week. Our program design is specifically developed to help you gain strength with a safe running technique.

    This is a great way to get in shape for the summer, and your entry fee includes entry to the Fort Langley 5 K race on July 5th, 2026!

    Welcome to the 7th Annual Gruesome Twosome 22k, 11k, 5k & 1k

    Gruesome Twosome has been created to encourage running with a partner, a friend, a side kick... of course you can run individually also! It is a family friendly event! Your registration includes a finishers medal, a $5.00 donation to BabyGoRound, your event bib, finish line food and lots of fun!

    Note this is not a relay event, you will be running with your partner for the chosen distance.

    Your event package is mailed to you and will arrive before August 22nd. This gives you the option to help us raise money and awareness, run where you live, (maybe create a group run with friends?!), and we can all run together around the world on the same day!

    Your registration fee includes your bib number, a finishers medal, a $5.00 donation to BabyGoRound.

    Important: Registration for our Virtual Runners closes July 1, 2026 so that we have time to mail your package to you before event day.

    Join us on Sunday, October 4th 2026 for the 6th Annual - Run for Sobriety!

    This is an inclusive environment celebrating anyone who is in pursuit of sobriety, recovery or creating a healthier relationship with substances. Whether you have personally struggled with addiction and mental health or your loved ones have, this event is the place to be! We believe everyone has a story to tell! Come and share yours at Run for Sobriety while we strive to make an impact in the local community by raising awareness to substance use and mental health. There is truly something for everyone - donate, sponsor, volunteer or sign up as a participant and come run or walk!

    Where: Noel Booth Elementary School (20202 35 Ave, Langley, BC V3A 0N1)

    Race Day Schedule:

    8:45am - 9:30 am: Package Pick-up

    9:40 am: Speeches / Announcements

    9:50 am: Warm-up

    10:00 am: 10km Race Start!

    10:05 am: 5km Race Start!

    10:45 am - 12:30 pm: Post-race celebration with a complimentary barbecue provided by South Point Real Estate Team and live music with draw prizes and awards.

    We strongly encourage package pick-up before Race Day, however there will be an option to do package pick-up on race morning. You may ask a friend to pickup your package on your behalf prior to race morning.

    Please note there will be no gear check available at the event.

    $10 registration fees will go towards covering event costs / race roster fees, the rest of your registration fee is a minimum donation which will go by your choice directly to one of the charities we are raising funds for.

    T-shirt order deadline is Saturday, September 12th. T-shirt orders will be fulfilled at package pick-up times listed above.

    All net proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association - British Columbia or The Running on Faith Project.
