This clinic will meet at our Langley store at 6:00 pm every Wednesday night for 9 weeks from May 6 until Sunday July 5th. Cost is $60! Anyone with an interest in improving their fitness and learning more about the sport of fitness - walking, jogging and running in a fun and social atmosphere is qualified to join. We offer three distinct program-levels for everyone.

The Learn-to-Run - 001 and 101 & Run Easy 201 programs offer a safe and gradual introduction to improved fitness and fun race-event preparation. The Run Easy club will achieve more ambitious, steady training runs. Each session features the ‘Walk-Jog-Run’ technical progression, until you’re finally running strong for 45 minutes+, 3-4 times per week... at a pace that will allow you to walk or run a 5k - 10k event with comfort and flare!!

Some people want to relieve stress or lose weight on the way to improving their ability to run safely and better every week. Our program design is specifically developed to help you gain strength with a safe running technique.

This is a great way to get in shape for the summer, and your entry fee includes entry to the Fort Langley 5 K race on July 5th, 2026!

    • Top Youth Fundraiser

Every dollar raised helps deliver community and wellness programs across Ridge Meadows - supporting healthier lives, close to home.

Peninsula Runners Langley Fall 2026 Half and Full Marathon run group AKA the 301 group meets twice a week on Saturday mornings and also Wednesday nights. The first Saturday being January 20th and the first Wednesday is June 17th, 2026. This session is geared towards the Royal Victoria Half and Full Marathon on October 11, 2026. We will help get you to the starting line ready and eager to finish strongly. Peninsula Runners has been successfully running run groups since we first opened in 2001. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Long runs are Saturday at 7 AM (7.30 AM for the first six weeks) while the Wednesday workouts start at either 5.15 or 6.00. Wednesdays are key workouts to help you become a stronger more complete runner. You should be able to run at least 40 minutes for the half or 60 minutes for the marathon before the first long run.

FYI we also have a power walking group heading out on Saturdays for those who prefer to walk either a 10 K or a half marathon.

Cost of the program is $100 for the fall (or ask at the store about our yearly option). This includes both weekly runs and also a 15% discount on purchases at the store. You will receive two weekly emails from the store and a program outline to help guide you through the program. All runners will receive a Pen Runners shirt to run in.

Running can be challenging and fun at the same time. One of the keys to running with a group like this is that you have others to run with and help you stay motivated and get a little more out of yourself. Our goal is to help prepare you to enjoy running and to finish your goal race.

Founded by Ryan, the crew was born from the simple idea of adding post-run beers to a half-marathon training plan. Their signature weekly run takes place every Monday night, starting at a different local brewery each week. This makes every run a new adventure.

The Ice Cream & Donut Run Club is a uniquely delicious and fast-growing running community based in Vancouver, Canada. Founded by Karen in 2018, the crew was born from a simple, fun idea: to gather a group of friends and explore the city's many ice creameries and donut shops on foot, and then enjoy the treats afterward. What started with eight runners has exploded into a massive community of hundreds. They host regular group runs with 5 K and 8 K options to welcome everyone, from Boston Marathoners to beginners, united by a love for running and delicious rewards.
