What started as one runner's moment of joy has become a crew of friends unified by the promise that personal transformation happens together.

Running with Rhyme and Peace emerged from a simple idea in August 2023, when a small circle of friends in Jakarta sought refuge from the city's relentless pace through shared runs. By January 2024, founders opened the doors to everyone, and today about 30 runners gather regularly under city lights or catch sunrise together. Their philosophy is straightforward: running is happiness, built on shared energy, open roads, and a welcoming pace where all are welcome. Whether it's Thursday nights starting at Kopi Api Coffee Roasters in Cikini or Sunday mornings at Gelora Bung Karno at 5am, the crew maintains one consistent feeling, rooted in safety and inclusion.

Selari was born in March 2020 when a group of Jakarta cyclists decided to try something new. Two wheels became two feet, and a running crew took shape. The name itself says it all: Selari means running repeatedly, a philosophy the crew lives by every single week. With around 25 runners, Selari brings genuine passion and positive energy to Jakarta's streets. They meet every Wednesday and Sunday morning at The Energy Building, committed to the same time, same place, same ritual. The vibe is open, consistent, and grounded in a love of the sport. Thunder Light Jakarta was born in February 2020 when three friends decided running could mean something deeper. Founded on the belief that miles matter less than the people running them, this Jakarta crew has grown to 15 members who gather around love, partnership, and genuine community. At their heart is a simple but rare philosophy: every run lifts each other up. They meet Tuesday evenings at Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, where the city lights come alive and conversations run as deep as the miles. We Run Jakarta started in 2016 when a group of friends kept crossing paths at running events in Senayan. Those chance meetings became something permanent. Around fifty members strong, this Jakarta crew runs to find greater joy in life, gathering three times weekly: Tuesday evenings at Soemantri, Thursday evenings at GBK Parkir Timur, and Sunday mornings from FX Lobby. Beyond the kilometers, they show up for each other's dreams. Familiar faces and genuine bonds define the community, rooted in the city they're proud to call home.
