In March 2023, six friends gathered at the edge of Jakarta's sprawling urban maze with one clear intention: create space where running connected people meaningfully, where relationships mattered more than race times or social metrics. From that founding group, Huruhara Running has grown to around thirty active members, each one curated for consistency and genuine commitment. The founding team, Andya, Alee, Ahan, Alvin, Kevin, and Ramzy, operates as a collective with distinct responsibilities in finance, creative design, partnerships, and content creation. The name itself, Huruhara, carries the positive kind of commotion, the energy of people gathering with shared purpose. Two signature sessions define their week: Wednesday speed work at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium and Sunday long runs from Panglima Polim in South Jakarta. Post-run culture reinforces the bonds, coffee shops, local food spots, and gym sessions turn kilometers into friendship. In a city of ten million, thirty runners showing up week after week to support each other's goals represents something increasingly rare and deeply valuable.

JakBrunners began in May 2014 when three friends discovered they lived just around the corner from each other in West Jakarta. What started as a simple idea to run together became the foundation for a thriving community. Today, the crew has grown to roughly 50 members who represent every corner of Jakarta, united by a shared love of running and a belief that moving together builds something stronger. JakBrunners' philosophy has remained unchanged since day one: running creates positive energy, and that energy ripples through the entire community. Every stride matters, and every runner belongs.

MAEM Running Club was born in Jakarta in 2015 around a simple truth: running is better when food comes after. Founded on the philosophy of Run, Eat, Joy, the crew built a community on exactly that idea, believing running should feel good, taste good, and bring people together without conditions. Around 30 runners, from beginners to veterans, gather twice a week across Jakarta for their signature Re-Fuel runs. The vibe is warm, open, and always hungry for the next meal together. Every Thursday at Gelora Bung Karno at 7 PM and every Sunday at The Energy Building at 6:30 AM, MAEM Running Club proves that the best runs end with shared food and genuine connection.

Brandon's first race became a turning point: not for the finish time, but for the friendships forged in those kilometers. That spark led him and his circle to found Manifest Running Crew in Jakarta in late 2024, driven by a simple belief that running builds people as much as it builds fitness. Gathering at BRAUD General Store in South Jakarta, the crew runs easy-paced routes through neighborhoods and parks, exploring the city while strengthening bonds with every step. Manifest welcomes runners of all levels with no fees, no pressure, just steady growth and mutual encouragement. What started as one runner's moment of joy has become a crew of friends unified by the promise that personal transformation happens together.

Running Rage has been Jakarta's commitment to the simple belief that running is a way of life since 2011. More than a decade of consistent weekly runs, the crew gathers three times each week in the Senayan area, welcoming anyone who wants to lace up and show up. Founded on the principle that running, lifestyle, and the great outdoors belong together, Running Rage keeps it honest and rooted in the joy of moving through the city with people who mean it. Every Sunday morning at 6:45 AM at FX Senayan, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings, the crew runs Jakarta without fail.
