Galaxy Running Club, founded in October 2013 by Andi and Audi in Bekasi near Jakarta, began as a small gathering of five runners at Taman Galaxy and has grown into a close-knit community of about 50 members. Rooted in a philosophy that values presence over numbers, the club fosters a supportive environment where runners, known as “Risk Takers,” encourage each other to push limits and embrace challenges. Their weekly Saturday runs at Grand Galaxy Park serve as a welcoming ritual, bringing together diverse individuals who share a passion for running and personal growth. Beyond fitness, the crew builds lasting friendships that extend into daily life, reflecting the vibrant, evolving spirit of Bekasi’s urban landscape. With no formal fees and an open invitation to runners of all levels, Galaxy Running Club embodies a genuine community centered on positive energy, resilience, and the joy of moving together through the city’s green spaces and streets.

Community Run

Running Rage is one of the original and most influential running crews in Jakarta, Indonesia, a community that has been at the forefront of the movement since 2011. They are defined by their holistic philosophy of "Running - Lifestyle - The Great Outdoors." As pioneers in the Southeast Asian running scene, they were co-hosts of the legendary 2016 Bridge The Gap Bali event. They continue to innovate through creative collaborations, such as their recent "Courage is Contagious" campaign, all while fostering a fun and supportive community for runners.

JakBrunners started in May 2014 when the founders connected online and found out they lived near each other in West Jakarta. What began as a local running group quickly expanded beyond the district, welcoming members from across Jakarta who share a passion for running and community. JakBrunners focuses on enjoyment, mutual support, and inclusivity, encouraging runners of all levels to join their regular group runs through West Jakarta’s lively urban streets and green spaces. JakBrunners remains an inviting space for anyone seeking camaraderie and positivity through the simple act of running together.

Manifest Running Crew Jakarta, founded in December 2024 by Brandon and friends, is a welcoming social run club rooted in friendship and personal growth. Manifest fosters a supportive, inclusive environment where runners of all levels enjoy easy-paced, medium-distance runs through South Jakarta’s vibrant neighborhoods. Meeting at BRAUD General Store, the crew explores the city’s dynamic streets and parks, embracing Jakarta’s energetic urban life and tropical climate. Manifest emphasizes collective progress over competition, welcoming members by invitation without fees to keep access open and community-focused. The crew’s philosophy centers on improving not just athletic ability but also building lasting connections and mutual encouragement. As part of Jakarta’s growing running culture, Manifest members often join local races and events, strengthening ties within the broader community. Through every step, Manifest embodies a movement of growth, friendship, and shared experiences in Indonesia’s bustling capital.
