Thunder Light Jakarta, founded in February 2020 by Djuli, Birin, and Ruth, is a close-knit running crew based in Indonesia’s vibrant capital. With about 15 members, the crew emphasizes more than just running—they cultivate a supportive community grounded in love, partnership, and empowerment. Monthly runs at the historic Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex offer a peaceful space for connection, reflection, and shared goals amid Jakarta’s bustling urban energy. The crew navigates diverse routes blending open tracks and green spaces, reflecting the city’s dynamic mix of tradition and modernity. As Jakarta’s running culture grows, Thunder Light Jakarta fosters genuine bonds between runners of all levels, encouraging mutual upliftment and dialogue. Beyond their own gatherings, members engage with local races, embodying the spirit of a city where physical activity and community intertwine naturally. We Run Jakarta (WERUNJKT) is an inspiring and supportive running community that has been a part of the Jakarta, Indonesia, running scene since September 2016. The crew was born when a group of friends who met at running events in the Senayan sports complex decided to "flock together" to get more out of the sport. They are a family-like crew that believes the bonds they form are about more than just running; they are about supporting each other's dreams and bringing greater joy into their lives.

MAEM running club is a vibrant and social running community that has been uniting runners in Jakarta, Indonesia, since 2015. Their identity is perfectly captured by their unique philosophy: "RUN – EAT – JOY." The crew's name, "Maem," is a local term for "to eat," reflecting their foundational belief in the joy of sharing culinary delights after a run. They host runs every Thursday and Sunday, welcoming runners of all levels to share experiences, knowledge, and, most importantly, a post-run "Re-Fuel" meal.

Selari is a vibrant running community that has been building a positive and awesome community in the Jakarta and Bintaro areas of Indonesia since March 2020. The crew has a unique origin, having been founded by a group of friends who were passionate about racing bikes and sought an alternative to traditional cycling. Their name, "Selari," means "running repeatedly," which perfectly describes their commitment to running together week after week as one group. With a focus on positive vibes, they host regular runs every Wednesday and Sunday morning.

Rush Runners is a close-knit and influential running community that originated at the finish line of the first Jakarta Marathon in October 2013. Their name is a clever acronym for their main goal: to RUn and SHare the joy of a healthy lifestyle. They are a group of "solemates" who believe in the power of running to bring people together and are committed to inspiring a new generation of runners in their city. With an active lineup of social runs, long runs, and speed sessions, they warmly welcome everyone, especially visitors to Jakarta.
