Join us on Sunday, July 19, 2026 with start times at 8am or 10am (you will select your start time during registration) for an exciting annual event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of Greenvale Vineyards! Greenvale Vineyards is a sixth generation farm producing small quantities of exceptional estate-grown wines. Settled along the Sakonnet River, our vineyard and tasting room experience integrates stunning wines on a breathtaking landscape. So, whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. The Jamestown Rhode Race will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The half-marathon is set on picturesque Conanicut Island and looks out over Narragansett Bay and the Newport Pell Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in New England. The course features vivid landscapes, winding roads, historic Watson Farm as well as the village of Jamestown with its small shops and quaint restaurants.

The race will start at 7:00 am and has a 3.5 hr time limit. The race has a limit of 425 participants.

Please Note: The Jamestown Rhode Race will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.

Join us for our 2nd Annual Fall trail run/walk through the beautiful Ryan Park in North Kingstown, RI. Proceeds from this event are to benefit North Kingstown Firefighters Association. All registrations prior to September 14th will get a race day t-shirt. There will be medals for top finishers in each age bracket. This race is open to all ages and levels of experience. This is going to be a great time you don't want to miss.

Each year, the Newport County YMCA hosts the annual Pie Run on Thanksgiving Day. This USATF sanctioned race, originally founded in 1985 by the Newport Running Club, collects food donations for the MLK Community Center as well as raises necessary funds for the Y's Community Support Campaign. Typically, this beloved annual event draws over 2,000 walkers and runners who gather at the Newport County YMCA parking lot. This year, the Y is again offering a LIVE/IN-PERSON or VIRTUAL option, opening the event so that ALL members of our Y community can participate in a way that works for them!

Pie Run Details:

• No on site registration on day of race- REGISTER ONLINE or ON YOUR DEVICE up to 7:45am on 11/26/26

• 5 Mile race is chip timed

• 3 Mile race is NOT timed

• Race begins @ 8:30am

• Arrive for race by 7:15am if you have NOT already picked up your bib

• Arrive for race by 7:45am if you have ALREADY picked up your bib during one of the times below

• Course is dog & stroller friendly

• Parking and restrooms will be available

Donation Details:

Donations will be collected at Bib Pickup for non-perishable food donations for the MLK Center as well as coat donations for area organizations in need. The Coat Drive is presented and run by the Island Interact Leadership Club sponsored by the local Rotary Club and NCYMCA.
