    Waterman Eco-Challenge & Summer Safe Ocean State 5K/10K

    Founded in 2011, the Waterman Eco-Challenge & Summer Safe Ocean State 5K/10K is an annual multisport festival supporting charities focused on drowning prevention, cancer support, cardiac health, and coastal sustainability. The event features running, swimming, and paddleboard races.

    Ocean Swim:

    New England's only open-water swim meet dual sanctioned by USA Swimming and U.S. Masters Swimming. This meet offers three race distances, individual and cumulative time relay competitions, a team points competition, and non-wetsuit (awards eligible) and wetsuit (no awards) divisions.

    Regular state beach parking rates apply. Season passes will be honored. Rhode Island resident day parking $7. Non-resident day parking $14. Senior resident $3.50. Senior non-resident $7. Parking rates are set by the State of Rhode Island and subject to change.

Greenvale Vineyards is a sixth generation farm producing small quantities of exceptional estate-grown wines. Settled along the Sakonnet River, our vineyard and tasting room experience integrates stunning wines on a breathtaking landscape.     The Beer Tent at the 2026 Blessing of the Fleet festival will be strictly 21+ on Friday night. Unfortunately, we will NOT be able to make exceptions to this rule for minors or young children, even if they are accompanied by an adult.

    10 mile run/walk on a scenic course.

    The town of Narragansett has capped this event at 4000 participants, we cannot take more entrants, so we advise to sign up early.

    Thank you for your interest in the 9th Annual Courtney Roderick Run for Recovery! If you're not able to attend in person, you're welcome to run or walk it virtually.

    Check in will open at 6:30 AM on the day of the race, with participants receiving a race t-shirt and bib! Only participants who signed up by July 1st will be guaranteed a T-shirt. We will have timing services provided by RaceWire.

    Handmade trophies will be given to the top finishers! *Only in person runners will be eligible for these trophies.

    This finale event brings together participants from Race4Chase programs across both states to celebrate their hard work, determination, and confidence gained throughout the summer. It’s more than a race, it’s a powerful celebration of youth achievement, healthy living, and community support.

    While this event is exclusively for Race4Chase participants and not open to public registration, we need enthusiastic volunteers to help make it a safe, smooth, and unforgettable experience for every child crossing that finish line.
