Welcome to the 23rd Annual Kids for Kids Triathlon!

Our mission is to introduce kids to the sport of Triathlon and in safe and fun environment.

Many thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers without whom this race would not be possible.

Over $120,000 given to local Kid's Charities in 20 years!

    Race Information

    7-10 Years Old

    Swim: 100 meters

    Bike: 3.1 miles

    Run: 0.6 miles

    11-15 Years Old

    Swim: 200 meter

    Bike: 6.2 miles

    Run: 1.2 miles

This event is a part of the NC Junior Triathlon Series. This means that all participants will be aged-up by USAT rules - their age by 12/31/26. This keeps all kids in the same age group through the series. If your child is 10 and will turn 11 by 12/31, then they will be in the 11-15 age group. You are welcome to "age down" and keep your child in the younger age group if that distance is more comfortable, just be aware that they will not be eligible for awards if they age down. The only kids are allowed to age down are kids who will be the age of the group on race day. For example, if your USAT age puts you in the 11-15 category, but your age on race day is 10, then you can age down. If your age on race day matches the USAT age, then you cannot age down. If you choose to age down, email [email protected] so she can make this change for you.

Held at the scenic Lake Brandt Marina in Greensboro, NC, this race delivers a dynamic and inclusive experience for all types of endurance athletes, from first-timers to seasoned competitors. New for 2026, all racing will take place in the morning, allowing for a smooth, unified race schedule and more time to connect with fellow athletes post-race.

    Race options

    • On-Road Triathlon: 800m swim, 12.5-mile road bike, 3.25-mile run

    • On-Road Duathlon: 2-mile run, 12.5-mile road bike, 3.25-mile run
