    Color Up Stoneville Walk/Run

    Stoneville Elementary PTO, in partnership with the Town of Stoneville, is excited to present Color Up Stoneville, a fun-filled walk/run event on Saturday, March 28th! This colorful community celebration is open to all students, families, and community members.

    Participants will make their way through multiple color stations where volunteers toss safe, vibrant powder, creating a joyful and energetic experience for all ages. The event is all about having fun, getting messy, and supporting our Stoneville school community.

    To ensure everyone can participate, Color Up Stoneville will include an Inclusive Wave, designed to be welcoming and accessible for all participants, including those with disabilities. This wave will offer a more relaxed pace and a supportive environment, allowing everyone to enjoy the event comfortably.

    In addition to the walk/run, the Stoneville Elementary School campus will be filled with food trucks, local vendors, and entertainment throughout the event, making it a full day of fun for the entire family.

    Come out, get colorful, and celebrate community spirit at Color Up Stoneville!

    Please note that the route can be lengthened or shortened as needed, and there is no defined distance for this event.

    ANYONE UNDER AGE 5 (0 mos. - 4 yrs.) IS FREE WITH A PAID ADULT.

    NO SHIRT, MASK, or GLASSES INCLUDED FOR CHILDREN PARTICIPATING FREE.

    $40 Runners, Walkers, Families & Friends!!!

    Proceeds to benefit Rockingham County Middle School Band!

    The 3.1 mile course has a paved asphalt surface with a few hills winding through the outskirts of downtown Wentworth!!!

    T-shirts and goody bag dead line will be March 14th

    Runners can get their T-shirts and bags the Friday before the race from 3:30-4:30 or on the day of the race.

    The Belews Lake Sprint returns to the Carolina Marina at Belews Lake for an unforgettable early-season multisport race. Taking place on a beautiful spring morning, this event is the perfect way to kick off your season with a sprint triathlon, sprint duathlon, or spring aquabike option.     • Sprint Triathlon: 750 Meter Swim – 14.5 Mile Bike – 5 Kilometer Run

    • Spring Aquabike: 750 Meter Swim – 14.5 Mile Bike

    The Mayodan Lions Club will host “Strides for Diabetes Awareness, 5K and 1 mile fun run” to raise funds and awareness in our local community. The concept is simple, run or walk a 5K course and 100% of the proceeds from our fundraising will aid diabetes camp, low boxes, and donations to Rockingham County School nurses to assist diabetic students. This will give us a unique opportunity to discuss diabetes and the importance of improving our health through exercising and eating right, while also being able to bond as a community.
