15th DUNCAN’S RUN BICYCLE PATCH RIDE: July 11, 2026. From Harlem Township in Delaware County. Pedal back in time on rural roads and along rippling waterways in quiet corners of Delaware, Licking, and Knox Counties. Choose from routes of 30/60/100 flat to hilly miles with a few steep climbs on the longest route. Full-service tour with frequent rest stops, hearty homemade “farmer’s lunch,” and a unique souvenir patch to the first 100 registered riders. Participants will receive their choice and color of a santa hat or elf hat (approximately 15 hat options to choose from during packet pickup) or tutu (your choice from 9 different colors) or race shirt as well as a custom race bib, finishers medal, ice cream or popsicle at the finish line, chip timed race, instant results, snacks, refreshments, ice cold towel at the finish line AND MORE!!
Race Start Times:
The marathon will start first at 6:30am followed by the half marathon at 7:30am, kids fun run at 8:15am and once that is completed the quarter marathon and 5k participants will begin at 8:30am.
Marathon - 6:30am

Quarter Marathon & 5k - 8:30am
Timing will end and the course will close at 12:00pm (5.5 hours for the marathon, 4.5 hours for the half marathon and 3.5 hours for all other races).

The 5k, quarter marathon, half marathon and marathon will each have a water station at the turn around point which means that the 5k will have 1 water stop on course at the halfway point of the race. The quarter marathon will have 3 water stops (5k turn around, quarter marathon turn around and again at the 5k turn around). The half marathon will have 5 water stops (5k turn around, quarter marathon turn around, half turn around, again at the quarter marathon turn around and again at the 5k turn around). The full marathon will have 9 water stops (5k turn around, quarter marathon turn around, half turn around, approximately near the 10 mile mark, full marathon turn around, approx 16 mile mark {same water station as the 10 mile mark}, again at the half marathon turn around, again at the quarter marathon turn around and again at the 5k turn around)
Parking Information:
Parking is available at the event location and if that parking lot fills up there are two adjacent parking lots. The first is between the Johnstown Mill and TAC off of Track St (short walk to the start/finish line). The second is in the gravel at the Johnstown Dog Park which is next to the shelter house where registration and the start/finish line is located: 100 E Douglas St, Johnstown, OH 43031. There is also street parking available all around the park however please make sure to check signs to ensure you are legally parked. At any parking area please do not park in the grass only in gravel/paved areas.
Strollers and Dogs are Permitted:
This is a dog friendly event. We will have a doggy water station setup at the finish line!
We do allow strollers at this event.

Indoor Triathlon

Swim 10 Minutes in 25 yard pool (4 feet depth)

Bike 30 Minutes on stationary cycle

Run 20 Minutes on treadmill.
The combined time for the swim, bike and run is 60 minutes, plus two transitions. The first transition between the swim and bike is ten minutes and the second transition between the bike to run is five minutes. Each heat will have a maximum of 6 participants. Three lanes of the pool will be used, with two swimmers in each lane. After completing the swim segment participants will have a 10 minute transition time to change and move to the cycle room for the bike segment. The run segment is upstairs using the treadmills.
Each participant will have 10 minutes for the swim, 30 minutes on the bike, and 20 minutes for the run, with the allotted transitions between activities. Fun and pressure-free, this event is great for both experienced triathletes and those competing in their first race.
Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate in this race.
Relay Team option
As an alternative to an individual completing all three segments of the triathlon, a team of 2 or 3 can participate. The entry fee for a TEAM is $90.00. When registering a team, only one (1) person sets up the team, naming the team and pays the participation fee for the team. All team members must also register to provide your information and sign the waiver.
All three segments are done in sequence (swim, bike, run) and the distance (laps and miles) for each segment will be recorded. The results will be by total distance and by ranked scoring.
This event will benefit the OhioHealth Behavioral Medicine/Addiction Medicine Fellowship. All profits from the Tri McConnell will help with educating physicians in addressing the opioid epidemic. Some areas that physicians receive education in are: inpatient psychiatry, pregnant and postpartum women suffering from opioid use disorder, advocacy for changes in local, state and federal health policies, and hands on experience in outpatient recovery. Make memories and continue the tradition this Thanksgiving season with family and friends! The start & finish line will be at the Johnstown Trail Head of the TJ Evans Bike Path and will stay on the paved Evans Foundation bike path (T.J. Evans Trail) in Johnstown, Ohio. The event kicks off with the Kids Fun Run at 9am followed by the half marathon, 10k and 5k run/walk at 9:15am.
Participants will receive their choice of a turkey hat (multiple hat options to choose from during packet pickup) or long sleeve shirt or hooded sweatshirt as well as a custom race bib, finishers medal, a sweet treat in the form of a personal pie, donut or cookie, chip timed race, instant results, snacks, refreshments AND MORE!!
