    Join us for the Fall City Classic! One of the fastest races in the Pacific Northwest. Come out and compete with the region's best. The 5k and 8k go out and back on the lazy Neal Road SE. The fast half goes out over the Snoqualmie River bridge unto SR202 and turns on to rural farming roads with views of the Cascade Mountains, Snoqualmie River and pumpkin patches. Starts promptly at 8 am PDT at Sixty Acres park and runs south down Sammamish River Trail the through Marymoor Park onto the Marymoor connector to East Lake Sammamish asphalt Trail. The course is out and back 13.1 miles for a total of 26.2. The course is a Boston Marthon Qualifier - flat and fast. Course record is 3:09:45. First one in that breaks the course record will get a bonus $$. Top 3 male and Top 3 female receive a Starbucks gift card. Cup of Clam Chowder for all finishers. We start off at the Maple Valley Market place and hit the Cedar/Green River trail with a slight down hill to the River overlooking gorgeous views of Lake Wilderness as you compete against your racing pals and companions on this USATF certified course.     Join us for one of the top early premiere triathlons in the region. Get an edge on your triathlete competitors by performing well in this super sprint triathlon. You start off with a quarter-mile swim in Lake Wilderness, typically the first week in May is in the 80s but the water is still a chilly 60F (wetsuits are allowed and encouraged). Next you start your 14-mile trek on 3 miles of road/asphalt followed by a hard packed dirt/limestone Cedar River trail. Slight downhill to the turnaround point which is also 2 miles of asphalt/bike path. Scenic views of the Cedar River as you speed across the trestle. This year we are eliminating the staircase and have a smooth transition onto the Cedar River Trail. All entrants get a super deluxe long sleeve mesh t-shirt, and all finishers get a forged Cedar River medallion. Apple, bananas, and oranges await you at the finish with festive Cedar River music. Photo finish - Smile ;).

    Plenty of parking at the Lake Wilderness Park. There will be certified life guards in the water, and certified flaggers on the first time getting you through the intersection. Water, Gatorade, Gel, first aid on the course. AED and lifeguards are in the water for your safety- raise your hand if you can if you are having trouble. All bike handles must be plugged. Police and Search and Rescue have been notified. Brush off those running shoes and score your big finish this year at the 2026 Cedar River Tri!

Race starts promptly at 8 am in knee water. First one out of the water wins the coveted baby Orca trophy. Must wear ankle bracelet for all three legs, and bib on front torso during he bike and the run for photo finish and timnig. Must go through the two red cones to get scored. You will get six scores, Swim, Bike, Run and 2 transition times as well as overall. All finishers get the Orcas Island triathlon Medal. All entrants get a classic deluxe T-Shirt. There will be certified life guards on Kayaks. Raise your hand if you can if you get into trouble. Water, Gatorade, First Aid, and Gel every 3 miles on the course. It is recorded if you miss it. Pre-race pasta feed and race packet pick up 4 pm on Saturday May 16, 2026 (optional). You can pick and rack bike starting at 7 am on race day. Must place stickers on helmet and bike. You will need these when you exit the secure corral area.

    Join us the last weekend in May - Sunny skies and cool temps make for a perfect Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlon - one of the finest in the early season of 2026. Start off with a cool 1/4 mile or 1/2 swim in beautiful Medical Lake with certified lifeguards and search and rescue personnel on jet skis in the water. Transition into a cool 11 mile or 22-mile countryside fast and flat road bike on SR902. Gorgeous scenery awaits your trek. Final transition to a mostly flat asphalt trek for a race around Medical Lake - approximately 5k around 10k will do twice. Starbucks gift cards to the winners. This is a USAT Sanctioned event. All participants must be a member (1 day membership is available). God Speed!

    Plenty of parking at the Medical Lake Park. Race starts promptly at 8 am in knee deep water. You will receive 6 scores Swim, Bike, Run, T1, T2 and final. USAT ranked event. All bike handles must be plugged. Relay'ers will pass off the swim ankle bracelet in the transition to the cyclist and cyclist will hand off to the runner relay'er. We have festive music at the start/finish/transition area. Apples, Bananas and oranges at the finish. Also as requested by our athletes steak and veggie sandwiches at the finish. Forged medal Medical Lake Triathlon to all finishers and custom designed T-Shirt for all entrants. Kids sprint will be 100 m swim followed by a 1.5 mile run (ages 7-15). Kid's Splash n Dash starts ~8:30 am.

    Mandatory (Zoom call/recorded) Safety Briefing on May 27, 2026, 7 pm PDT. Race packet pick up will be Saturday May 30, 2026, 4 pm or race day starting at 7 am at the race site. We will also send out a pre-race instructions on May 26, 2026.

    Join us for the inaugural running of the Columbia River Half Iron with a 1.2-mile swim in the Columbia River starting in knee deep water at the Vantage Boat launch, followed by a slightly hilly 56-mile bike out and back toward Ellensburg, and topping it off with a 13.1-mile jaunt down to the Wanapum Reservoir Dam. All registrants get a custom deluxe windbreaker. All finishers get that coveted Columbia River Half Iron Medal. There will be water, Gatorade, gel, first aid every 3 miles on the course. Certified lifeguards with AEDs in the water. Follow all directions of course official. Mandatory pre-race briefing live stream on June 11, 2026, 7 pm PST. Optional pre-race buffet/packet pick up at 4 pm on June 13, 2026, at the race site. You may rack bike starting at 6 am on Race Day June 14, 2026 - registration will be open.     There are plenty of parking spaces at the Vantage Resort. All participants must wear ankle bracelets for the duration of the event and Bib on front torso for the duration of the run and bike. 10-minute penalty if it is not visible. All bike handles must be plugged. Wet suites will be allowed up to 85F water temperature and mandatory if 55F and below per USAT regulations. All participants are responsible to know the course. Course maps are posted on our webpage and there will be orange route arrows in the road, and elevated signs. Must have helmet and bike label to exit the secured coral area. No floatation devices are allowed in the water.

    Bib Chip Timed

    Prizes for the top three male/female finishers in the 5Kand 10K races and refreshments following the race.

    Stay in town for the parade and festival following the race.

    -- Courses --

    The 10K and 5K races are USATF Certified courses along country roads that cross the Snoqualmie River. Race courses are VERY flat and fast, so be prepared for a personal best time. The races will be chip timed by Peak Performance Timing. Prizes will be awarded for the first three overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races and there will be refreshments following the race.

    The Fall City Day 10K, 5K, and Kids 1K will start and finish in the heart of downtown Fall City, Washington, which is located about 25 miles east of Seattle via I-90 and 15 miles east of Redmond via Highway 202.

    The start/finish line is in front of the Farmhouse Market located at 33521 SE Redmond-Fall City Road, Fall City, WA 98024, near Olive Taylor Quigley Park, in downtown Fall City.

    No dogs please (service dogs will be allowed). Walkers and strollers are welcome, however, all participants must be finished by 10:30 AM when the course closes and reopens to vehicle traffic.

    -- Kids 1K --

    Please note this race is for young children, typically under 8 years of age. The race starts in front of the Farmhouse Market. They run down Redmond-Fall City Road, across the bridge, around the roundabout and back to the finish line at the Farmhouse Market. Its a quick 10 minute run. Parents do not register for the race. If you feel the need to, you may run along the outside of the course by your child. For safety we ask that parents do not run inside the course and please keep younger children toward the rear of the running group.

    The 10K and 5K will be chip-timed by Peak Performance Timing. A disposable chip will be placed on the backside of your bib. Please be sure to wear your bib on your chest and be clearly visible. This will help ensure your tag will be read and allows us to keep track of registered participants. Also it will make it easier for the race photographer.

    Water stations will be located just prior to both the 5K and 10K turnarounds. Only water will be provided. Bananas and bagels will be provided at start/finish line.

    -- Parking --

    Free parking is available at Chief Kanim Middle School (32627 SE Redmond-Fall City Road, Fall City, Washington 98024) and at Fall City parks ( 4101 Fall City-Carnation Road Southeast, Fall City, WA 98024).

    All race proceeds to benefit the youth of the Snoqualmie Valley. Please help us support our youth.

    The online registration site will close at midnight on June 10th so that we can process registration packets. After that you can register in person the night before at Fall City Elementary School (5-8 PM) or the day of. In person registration the day of the race will close at 8:15 AM. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO COME AND REGISTER THE DAY OF. WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE YOU IF THE REGISTRATION WINDOW HAS PASSED. Please note that T-Shirts will not be available unless you purchase them before the end of the day on May 29, 2026.

    Sales Tax Exemption: As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Fall City Day Run fundraising event for local schools and community groups is exempt from collecting sales tax on its race entry fees.

    Day Before Race (June 12, 2026) in-person registration will be available from 5 PM to 8 PM at Fall City Elementary School (33314 SE 42nd Street Fall City, Washington,98024). Please note that T-Shirts will not be available unless you purchase them during Early Registration.

    Day of Race (June 13, 2026) in-person registration will be available from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM at Olive Taylor Quigley Park, in downtown Fall City. 33512 SE Redmond-Fall City Road, Fall City, WA 98024. Please note that T-Shirts will not be available unless you purchase them during Early Registration.

    We apologize as we do not have a bag check station due to limited staffing. Please leave your valuables at home. Thank you.

    --- Awards --

    Prizes for the Top 3 male and female in 5K and 10K races. Overall awards are based on chip time. We kindly ask that you let the fast runners toe the start line or start near the front. Please note: awards are based on chip time, not gun time.

    Finishers Medals provided for the first 500 participants in 5K and 10K races combined. Finishers Medals provided for the first 100 participants in the Kids 1K race.
