    • Race size: About 100 in each race, 5K and 10K -- Only one race per person

    • Time Limit: Must finish by 9:30 AM

    • 5K Start: 5K run & race walk at 8:00 AM,

    • 10K Start: 10K run at 8:10 AM -- 10K starts about 200 feet north of the 5K start

    • Awards: Cherry pies for top 3 in each race in 10-year age groups (men and women), plus racewalkers

    • Post-race: Refreshments to keep you warm

    • April 13 at Bluemont Park in Arlington VA -- Easter Classic 5K and 10K

    • July 4 at Bluemont Park in Arlington VA -- Go Fourth 8K

    • November 22 at East Potomac Park -- Cranberry Crawl 5K and 10K

    • December 20 at East Potomac Park -- Christmas Caper 5K and 10K

    • Members may sign up for By George and enter all 5 races for the price of 4 ($40 total)

    • Non-members may sign up for By George and enter all 5 races for the price of 4 ($60 total)

    • If you're not a member yet, you can join PVTC now for $20 and take the member prices

    Since 2006, the StarKid 5K has supported Inova Children’s. Originally supporting the Pediatric Heart Program, proceeds now benefit pediatric services across Inova Health System, with this year’s funds supporting the Joe Cassella Pediatric Patient and Family Support Fund!

    Online registration will remain OPEN through Race Morning. All registrants must register online.

    Packet pick up will be at the BURKE =PR= Run and Walk store (5715 Burke Centre Pkwy, Burke, VA 22015) on Saturday, June 13, from 12:00-3:00 pm, and then at the Fairfax Corner Plaza on race day starting at 7:00 am.

    Participants will receive a commemorative performance shirt.

    Since 1960, ASHRAE has sponsored research studies at universities and research firms. The results of these studies have been used to prepare chapters in the ASHRAE Handbook series; as foundational material in special publications, in the formulation of standards; to train university students as they prepare for the service in the HVAC&R industry; and to spread the knowledge gained through presentation at Society Conferences and publication in ASHRAE Transactions or conference proceedings.
