Dust off your running shoes and come support the Louise Archer community at the annual Louise Archer 5K and Sun Run on Sunday, April 12, 2026! Making this a great spring event this year!

Schools are at the heart of every community, and the PTA is right there building the connections between teachers, school staff, students, parents, neighbors and the wider community to support their students. Through events, programs, fundraising and community outreach efforts, PTAs across the country are building their communities and creating ties to the school in fun, engaging and innovative ways.

The Louise Archer 5K and Sun Run is an active, exciting, and FUN way to support and celebrate our school, students, teachers, staff, and community. Join us on Sunday, April 12 The Sun Run kid's run will start at 8:00 am followed be the 5K which starts at 8:30 am.

When: Sunday, April 12, 1K "Sun Run" starts at 8:00 am, 5K starting at 8:30 am

Where: Madison High School, 2500 James Madison Dr, Vienna, VA 22181

Registration Fees:

5k Run/Walk Adult (13 & over): $40 through March 13, $45 March 14 through Race Day

5k Run/Walk Kids (12 & under): $35 through March 13, $40 March 14 through Race Day

1K Fun Run (untimed): $20, through March 13, $25 March 14 through Race Day

Online registration will remain open through race day morning. All registrations must be done online.

Commemorative Race Shirts will be available to everyone for pick up before the race when registered by the end of the day, March 27. For registrations completed after March 27 shirts will not be guaranteed. Be sure to register early!

Awards & Prizes: Overall Male and Female 13 & Over Finisher, Top 12 & Under Male and Female finisher.

Packet Pick up and Late Registration:

Saturday, April 11 at the PR Store-Vienna (111 Maple Ave) from 12:00-3:00 pm.

Then on race day at Madison HS starting at 7:15 am.

PLEASE NOTE: All runners MUST have be registered and have a bib in order to participate in the run. If parents feel the need to run with their student, please be sure to register. Parents registered in the 5K are able to participate with their children in the Sun Run at no additional fee.

Walk4Inclusion is a cornerstone event within EquallyAble’s nationwide inclusion efforts, bringing communities together to advance dignity, access, and opportunity for people of all abilities.

The 2026 Walk4Inclusion takes place Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Fairfax Corner, featuring a timed 5K and an untimed 1K Fun Run. Proceeds directly support EquallyAble’s mission to build a more inclusive society for people with disabilities and their families.

Join EquallyAble and the Fairfax community for Walk4Inclusion 2026, a high-energy, all-abilities celebration of inclusion, movement, and belonging. Whether you’re running for a personal best or walking alongside family and friends, this event invites everyone to participate—at any pace.

Our 1K Fun Run is specifically aimed at children with disabilities and their families. We’ve moved the start time to 10:00 AM to allow for a more relaxed arrival, ensuring a supportive and celebratory environment for every participant.

Participants may choose:

• Timed 5K, 9:00 am– for runners and walkers seeking an official finish time

• Untimed 1K Fun Run, 10:00 am* – A joyful, untimed 1K designed for children and adults of all abilities. Bring the whole crew—parents, grandparents, friends—walk, run, or roll. Strollers and wheelchairs welcome.

Walk4Inclusion is intentionally designed to be accessible and welcoming to all abilities. Every registration helps EquallyAble expand inclusive programs, advocacy, and support services that empower individuals to live with independence and purpose.

All participants receive an official event t-shirt and finisher medal. T-shirt availability is guaranteed only for participants registered by March 15. Registrations after that date are welcome, but T-shirts (including size availability) are not guaranteed.

Join us for the 21st Annual Jaguar 5K & 1 Mile on Saturday, April 18, at 8:00 am

The Falls Church High School Jaguar 5K Run / Walk and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run were started in 2006 by Jeanne Kelly (FCHS alumni and former Director of Student Activities). Over the years it has grown significantly with the positive involvement of students, community members, and staff of FCHS -with over 800 race participants!

All of the proceeds of the event benefit fitness activities (including sports programs, a school weight room, and physical education equipment) that help promote a healthy lifestyle.

Registration fees:

5K: $30 through March 31

$40 April 1 through April 17

$50 on Race day

1 Mile (8th grade and younger): $20 through April 17

$30 on Race Day

Online registration remains open through race day at 7:30 am. All registrations must be done online.

Packet pick up will be at Falls Church HS in the Main Gym Lobby (Use door #11) on Friday, April 17 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, then again on race morning starting at 6:30 am. Online registrations will remain open through race morning at 7:30am

Awards will be given to Overall top three male and female finishers, and the top 3 male and female in each age group.

Parking will be limited due to on going construction at the school. Please plan to arrive early to get a spot.

Wolftrap 5K & Fun Run Community Celebration - Pajama Jog - Get out of Bed and Run!

Wolftrap Elementary's 5K is more than a race - and there is something for everyone, even if you don't want to run! It is truly a community celebration. This is the Wolftrap Parent Teacher Association's (PTA) largest fundraiser of the year.

Join the Wolftrap Elementary School PTA, students, family, and the community on Sunday, April 19, 2026, for our Annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run starting at 8:00 am. The start and finish are at 1903 Beulah Rd, Vienna, VA 22182. Not only can participants enjoy the race and/or fun run, but the morning will also feature music, race awards, a cake walk, raffles of baskets, after-race treats, and much more. This annual 5K and fun run is a community-building event that helps the Wolftrap PTA raise critical funds to enhance students' educational experience at Wolftrap Elementary.

Registration Fees: Everyone must register online. Online registration will close on Sunday, April 19, at 8:00 am

5k Run/Walk Adult (13 & over):$40 through March 15, $45 March 16 through Race Day

5k Run/Walk Child (12 & under): $30 through March 15, $35 March 16 through Race Day

All registrations completed by March 31st are guaranteed a race shirt. After this date, race shirts are not guaranteed.

There will be a $5 registration discount for registrants who "opt out" of a race shirt option.

The deadline for purchasing Wolftrap Pajama Pants is March 31.

The start and finish line are located at the school, 1903 Beulah Rd, Vienna, VA 22182.

The 1-mile fun run/walk will start at 8:00 am, followed by the 5K at 8:30 am (1 hour to complete). Both races begin and end at the school. The event will take place rain or shine. Strollers are welcome at both races. Please be respectful of other runners and start in the back of the group if you are slower.

Packet Pick up and Late Registration: Packet pick-up will be available on Friday, April 17, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the school. Packet pick-up and walk-in registration will be held on race day, Sunday, April 19, from 7:15 am to 8:15 am at the Wolftrap Elementary School. Participants can register on the day of the event at the packet pick-up.

Awards & Prizes: For the 5k race, trophies and medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, including teachers and students. Additionally, medals will be awarded for the top male and top female finisher in each of the following age categories: 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over.

Join Fairfax Law Foundation, dressed like a Superhero or your favorite Villain on Sunday, April 19, at Fairfax Corner for the Annual Heroes vs Villains Run for Justice 5K.

The untimed Kid's Fun Run will start at 8:00 am. All fun run participants will receive a finisher's medal.

The 5K will start at 8:30 am

Registration fees:

5K: $40 through April 4

$45 April 5 through Race day (April 19)

Kid's Fun Run: $20 through Race Day (April 19)

All registrations must be done online. Online registration closes race day, Sunday, April 19 at 8:00 am.

Packet pick up will be at the PR Fairfax Store (11895 Grand Commons Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030) on Saturday, April 18 from 11am-3pm. Then on Race Day in the plaza starting at 7:30 am.

Volunteer Opportunities: Join in the fun as an event volunteer! This event relies on 50+ volunteers to be successful and we need YOUR help. Volunteer jobs include: water station, race buffet/registration area, or course marshals on race day. We will also need help during packet pick up.
