2026 Cranberry Crawl 5K and 10K

• On-line registration closes on Wednesday, December 16, at 12:00 noon

• Race-day: On-site packet pickup open 7:00 AM-7:45 AM

• No race-day registration

• Course: Flat – walker- and wheelchair-friendly – One or two out’n’back segments on paved roads

• Parking: Ample and free at East Potomac Park Golf Course, south of Jefferson memorial

• Race size: About 100 in each race, 5K and 10K. Must finish by 9:30 AM. Only one race per person

• 5K start and course: 5K run & race walk start at 8:00 AM. Gather at start / finish banner about 200 feet south of entrance to East Potomac Park Golf Course. After the National Anthem and pre-race instructions at 7:52 AM, at the starter's whistle, run south on east side of Ohio Drive, right around Hains Point, north on west side of Ohio Drive to a turnaround point; then south on west side of Ohio Drive, left around Hains Point, and north on the east side of Ohio Drive back to the finish line under the banner.

• 10K start and course: 10K run starts at 8:10 AM. Gather about 200 feet north of start / finish banner near entrance to East Potomac Park Golf Course. After pre-race instructions at 7:52 AM, at the starter's whistle, run south on east side of Ohio Drive, right around Hains Point, north on west side of Ohio Drive to a turnaround point; then south on west side of Ohio Drive, left around Hains Point, and north on the east side of Ohio Drive back toward the finish line. Turn around left at cones about 100 feet south of finish line banner. Follow the course a second time. Upon your return, finish under the banner.

• Awards: Christmas ornaments for top 3 in each race in 10-year age groups (men and women), plus racewalkers

2. April 3 at Bluemont Park, 329 North Manchester Street, Arlington VA - Easter Classic 5K and 10K

3. July 4 at Bon Air Park, 850 North Lexington Street, Arlington VA -- Go Fourth 8K

4. November 21 at East Potomac Park -- Cranberry Crawl 5K and 10K

5. December 19 at East Potomac Park -- Christmas Caper 5K and 10K

Winter Hains Point 5k & 10k

Points count towards our Year-Long 5k, 10k, & Back of the Pack Series. Points will also count towards our Winter Series.

Come out and enjoy this scenic, flat 5k & 10k in the heart of DC near the Nation’s Capital.

Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event.

Latinas Leading Tomorrow (LLT) is addressing the unique challenges and barriers faced by Latinas in their academic success and personal development. We recognize that schools often overlook the cultural, language, and socio-economic needs of Latino students, and we aim to bridge this gap through cultural responsiveness and mentorship.

Come out and enjoy our 5K in Washington DC at Hains Point Park. We invite you to support our upcoming 4th annual Reach for the Stars 5K Run/Walk, where funds raised will directly contribute to our efforts in empowering Latina students. We have an ambitious goal of $60,000 this year. We are confident that with the help of individuals, corporate sponsorships, and the community coming together, we can reach this goal!

We are so excited to be with you for our 5th Annual Reach for the Stars 5K Run/Walk Saturday, September 12 at Hains Point Park. We wanted to provide you with some information in preparation for the race. This event will begin promptly at 8 am.

This is a rain or shine event, therefore the event will still take place even if it rains.

8:00-8:30 am: Check-In/pre-race activities

8:30 am: Warm Up

9:00 am: Start of 5K Run/Walk

10:30 am: Post Race Party at Hains Point Picnic Area
