The Regatta Run/Walk 5K is the perfect Tualatin Harvest event! It is held in conjunction with the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta on Sunday, October 18! The course is flat, fast, and friendly for runners, walkers, stroller riders, and four-legged friends. Gather your family at Tualatin Community Park on 8515 SW Tualatin Road and follow the route through scenic trails, over a footbridge, into Durham Park, Cook Park and back. For extra fun, wear a costume and stay for a unique trick-or-treating experience for youth during/after the race. A quarter mile kid's dash (ages 4-12) will also kickoff at 8:45am right before the Regatta Run/Walk.
All net proceeds will support Tualatin Rotary’s first-generation college scholarships at Tualatin High School and opportunities for school-aged children in our community. This event was founded in memory of Marine Corporal Matthew Lembke, a 2005 graduate of Tualatin High School who lost his life while serving in Afghanistan. His sacrifice and service has inspired us to support youth and their future potential.
