The best part? Proceeds from this event benefit the Ladybug CDH Foundation, whose mission is to: Raise public awareness about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), a potentially life-threatening birth defect affecting 1 in 2,500 children annually.

    Fund critical medical research.

Provide direct support to families in the Pacific Northwest facing the challenges of CDH.

    Survivor/Angel Signs:

We line the sidewalks at Cook Family Park with signs remembering and honoring Angels and Survivors. If you have a CDH Angel or Survivor you would like represented with a sign, please contact us at [email protected]. Send us a few sentences about their story and 2-3 photos. We'd love to be able to honor your CDH warrior.

Don’t wait—register today to lace up your shoes, make a difference, and help us support families impacted by CDH. Together, we can bring hope and make strides for this important cause.

PDX Recovers is more than a 5K. It’s a chance to heal together. In a city known as Bridge City, this race connects running with recovery, neighbors with neighbors, and hope with action. It’s not just a fundraiser. It’s a movement—people training, walking, running, and rebuilding their lives together.

This event is hosted by Union Gospel Mission of Portland, an organization that has served people experiencing homelessness, hunger, addiction, and abuse in the Portland community for nearly 100 years.

Through programs that provide meals, showers, shelter, outreach and long-term recovery for men, women, and children, Union Gospel Mission Union Gospel Mission offers life-changing pathways toward stability and hope. Proceeds from the race will help support these programs and the individuals and families working to rebuild their lives.

Once online registration has closed, walk-up registration at packet pickup and on race day will still be available.
