Grab your family and friends and join us at Darden Towe Park for a Fun Run/Walk on February 8th at 10 AM! What a great way to enjoy our beautiful surroundings, support the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville, AND get a pair of red and white striped socks to keep your tootsies warm and look stylish long after the run is over! If you'd like to participate, but just can't make it out to Darden Towe, join in VIRTUALLY! Still support RMH and run/walk anywhere you'd like on Feb 8th (even if it is indoors, we won't tell ;))!
After the race, join us at Random Row Brewing (608 Preston Ave., Charlottesville, VA 22903) and warm up over beer and pizza. Random Row will "Pour it Forward" and donate $2 from every draft beer and pizza sold during the event.

Remote Area Medical (RAM) at UVA is excited to announce the fourth annual RAM @ UVA 5K on Sunday, March 30, 2025!
RAM is a nonprofit organization that provides free healthcare to those in need through mobile clinics offering medical, dental, and vision services to underserved and uninsured individuals. Since it was founded in 1985, RAM’s Corps consists of more than 212,000 volunteers. Licensed dental, vision, and medical professionals at these clinics have treated more than 940,000 individuals, delivering more than $200 million worth of free care. More information about the organization can be found on their website, at https://www.ramusa.org/.
As a chapter of the organization, our goal is to promote that mission and host a biennial free clinic in Fishersville, VA. This is a big dream, and we will need your help! We successfully hosted our inaugural clinic in November 2022, the first to be organized entirely by a collegiate chapter, where we provided over 500 patients with $250,000 in medical care. Our second clinic in April 2024 achieved similar success, serving over 400 patients over one weekend and providing the equivalent of $225,000 in free healthcare. The cost of hosting our own clinic is approximately $25,000, and we continue to work actively in our community to raise these funds. Whether you decide to participate in person or virtually, all proceeds from the race will go towards funding for our next clinic to help bring the mission of RAM closer to the Charlottesville community!
All in-person participants will have their timing results available online after the race and will receive refreshments and a T-shirt (first 60 sign-ups) on race day while supplies last. The top three finishers will also receive a prize donated by local Charlottesville businesses. Bib and T-shirt pickup will begin at 12:30 pm on race day. Participants must start the 5K by 1:15 PM and finish no later than 2:30 PM.
Price to register will increase after March 2, 2025 so make sure to sign up as soon as you can!
See you on race day!

Women of all ages* are invited to participate in the Charlottesville Track Club (CTC) Women's Four Miler Training Program.
For the second year in a row, this program is proudly presented by Women in Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness and sponsored by CTC and Women in Motion. They have specializations in orthopedics, obstetrics, pelvic health, oncology, and breast health, treating all genders through all phases of life. In addition to sponsoring the Women's Four Miler training program, they are also actively involved in national post-professional education and medical mission trips and are committed to doing monthly community outreach in central Virginia!
The Women in Motion team is honored to lead this training program on a volunteer basis, with 100% of the net proceeds from registration going to the UVA Breast Care Center!
Join us for six consecutive Saturdays - from July 18th to August 22nd - of group training and talks by experts on a variety of women's health topics.
In order to keep the program manageable and enjoyable for everyone, we will be limiting it to the first 75 registrants. However, we would be happy to make the weekly training plans available to anyone interested in a virtual training program. If the in-person version is full, you will be redirected to the virtual. You may also opt-in to the virtual program if that's your preference. Details will be sent to all participants via email.
Program goals include:
providing a professionally designed training program tailored to your goals and experience
building a sense of community among both participants and volunteers
empowering new runners and walkers
helping you safely transition back into running/walking after time away
exposing you to information on women's health issues
answering any general questions you have about running/walking four miles, as well as specific questions about the Women's Four Miler
getting you to the Women's Four Miler starting line on September 5th feeling healthy and confident.

The race proudly supports two local beneficiaries: the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, both of which provide critical food resources to individuals and families in need. The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank serves Central Virginia and is an affiliate of the national organization Feeding America. Local Albemarle EMT medical services will be on site. We are grateful for their volunteer support and for all who help ensure a safe and enjoyable race experience.
Finally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, partners, and volunteers for their dedication and care in bringing the community together through the Charlottesville Turkey Trot. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
