Reverse-order Sprint Triathlon
What I love about this race:
Who can say they finished a triathlon with a ride down a 300-foot long waterslide?! Those who sign up for this race can! We love this reverse-order triathlon, a perfect race for first-time triathletes and kids! All racers begin at the same time with a challenging 5k run 100% on asphalt, followed by a 8-mile bike ride, a 300-yard swim (which anyone is welcome to use a lifejacket!), and a run up the ramp to grab a mat and slide down "Avalanche" to the finish line. Not only do you get to participate in a triathlon at a super fun venue, free photos, an awesome finisher medal, and other swag, but participants will also receive two free passes (a $43.98 value) to Splash Summit Water Park to use in 2026 with each individual registration! (passes are emailed out every two weeks while registration is open). We also offer a 12 and under kids super-sprint triathlon that is half as long! We will also be offering a 5K walk/run.

DISTANCE
5K run (3.1 miles), 8-mile bike ride, 300-yard swim, 300-foot waterslide finish
KID'S TRI DISTANCE: 1.5 mile run, 4-mile bike, 150-yard swim, 300-foot waterslide finish
RACE START
All racers will begin at the starting line for the run, with the gun starting at 7:00 a.m. After running for 3.1 miles, racers will then transition within the park and exit on their bikes. Following a two-loop, 8-mile bike ride, racers will come back into the transition area, leave their bikes, run up the sidewalk to the wave pool, and jump into the pool for 300 yards to swim, and then run up the ramp to finish on "Avalanche", a 300-foot waterslide to the finish line.
KID'S TRIATHLON
New to the race this year - our half-sprint-distance triathlon is for those 7-12 years old who would like to also run in the race! Instead of two laps on the run and two laps on the bike, the kid's triathlon is one lap of each, and half the distance in the pool! The kid's tri will start after the sprint tri runners finish their first loop so the kids aren't running and biking alone. If parents want to race alongside their kids, they must purchase a kid's triathlon registration as well, and won't be in the running for awards.

The East Canyon Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.
The Full Marathon starts overlooking Salt Lake City at the Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon and heads East. This course follows along pine trees, aspens and follows several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir. The Full joins Half Marathon about 3/4 around East Canyon Reservoir where the Half Marathons starts and then heads down Red Rock Canyon which has great views and landscapes and unique rock formations. Around Mile 20 of the race the course turns into farmland with beautiful fields of grain and cool barns. The 10K and 5K are out and back courses that start where all distances finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.
Utah’s Last Fast Downhill Race to Qualify for the 2027 Boston Marathon
You’ll race down Payson Canyon on the Mt. Nebo Loop, surrounded by pine-lined roads, sweeping curves, and views of Mount Nebo, Utah Valley, and Utah Lake far below.
Whether you’re taking on the Marathon with its massive 4,561-foot drop, flying through the Half, or pushing for a PR in the 10K or 5K, every course at NEBO comes with speed, elevation, and a challenge worth showing up for.
This is where you run hard, dig deep, and let gravity do its job. You bring the grit — the canyon brings the drop.
The remembrance run and market honoring babies gone too soon — because love doesn’t end.
The course is a beautiful, flat 2-mile loop on the Bonneville Salt Flats - the fastest speedway on earth - on which you (Ultra) or your relay team of 4, 6, or 8 will see how many miles you can run from dusk to dawn (~11 hours). You will run directly on the salt overnight under the stars, from sunset to sunrise. The team who runs the most miles in each team category wins a trophy!
For your non-runner family and friends who still want to come and enjoy the night and support you - get a Party Supporter wristband!
In order for your final lap to count, you must finish it by sunrise. Otherwise, you make your own strategy. Decide who will run when, how many laps, who will start, finish, etc. It's up to you! Get together and figure out how you can run the most miles from dusk to dawn.
Enjoy all-night activities such as an ultimate scavenger hunt or tours of the cosmos from a local astronomy club, win awesome giveaway prizes, and enjoy a pancake breakfast for charity at the end of the race.
Every year, Labor Day Weekend, endurance MTB riders drop in on some of the best singletrack Park City, Utah has to offer. There are over 400 miles of trail here; it’s ripping fast and incredibly diverse. Whether you’re someone who rides the trails regularly, or you’re an out-of-towner, the Park City Point 2 Point is guaranteed to please.
The course is an actual point to point ride, and thanks to the plethora of trails in the area, you will never be on the same trail twice. 90% of the course is on singletrack with a total distance of 75 miles and over 10,000′ of climbing, and all while traveling through two world-class mountain resorts. It will challenge your mental prowess, yet it will have you grinning from ear to ear.
Point 2 Point is an adventure too, just like the old days of mountain bike racing. It’s not a closed course (the general public will riding the trails with you), and we will not be holding your hand along the way, showing you the route. You will want to prepare, study the course map (pre-ride if you can), or bringing a GPS unit with the course pre-loaded. If you don’t prepare, there’s a chance you are going to get lost, maybe not even finish – but isn’t this the real allure of racing?
We always ask…Can You Do it? There is only one way to find out.

TEAM SPRINT TRIATHLON: A team of 2-3 people where each person does one (or two) of the above leg(s). (Please first register one person, then go back and register the others in order to get the group pricing discount.)
THE RACE!:
SWIM
Starting on the beach by stepping over the timing mat, you will swim about 450 yards counter-clockwise around three buoys in a triangular pattern. Because the usual temperature in late summer of Bartholomew pond is around 60 degrees, wetsuits are encouraged, but not required. Lifeguards on kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes will help keep our swimmers safe. Lifejackets are allowed as well.
T1
Swimmers will exit the water where they started and enter the transition area to dry off, grab their bike, helmet (REQUIRED), and shoes and head off up the canyon!
BIKE
The bike exits the park to the east and turns north (left) up the hill. Springville Police will help cyclists turn east (right) up Canyon Rd where cyclists will do a simple out-and-back course up the LEFT fork of Hobble Creek Canyon. No aid stations will be on the bike course, but water for your water bottles will be available in transition. Cyclists will travel slowly up the 6.2 mile course, and then fly down the canyon on the way back! But slow down as you come out of the canyon and police will help you turn left toward Bartholomew Park to finish and rack your bike in T2.
T2
Rack your bike, strap on your running shoes and head south out of the park.
RUN
You'll make one big rectangle, running in the river bottoms with aid stations at every mile. After running through beautiful Mapleton and Springville neighborhoods, you'll head toward Bartholomew park, run around the pond on the dirt road to the finish line! You'll have done it! We'll drape a finisher's medal around your neck and you can celebrate your success with family, friends, and lots of good post-race snacks! If you're ONLY doing the 5K walk/run, we'll start you at 8:00 a.m., and you'll get everything that the triathletes do!
TIMING CHIP SYSTEM AWESOMENESS
RunnerCard will be providing our chip timing, and they do a phenomenal job. Timing chips are placed on your ankle for the duration of the triathlon. When you finish we'll grab your chip off your ankle--make sure we do so you don't get fined for losing it! Shortly after you finish, you can pick up a print out of your time and ranking. You'll also receive a text with your time right after you cross the finish line! Talk about efficient!
