50 Miles Relay Run Ultra

The course is a beautiful, flat 2-mile loop on the Bonneville Salt Flats - the fastest speedway on earth - on which you (Ultra) or your relay team of 4, 6, or 8 will see how many miles you can run from dusk to dawn (~11 hours). You will run directly on the salt overnight under the stars, from sunset to sunrise. The team who runs the most miles in each team category wins a trophy!

For your non-runner family and friends who still want to come and enjoy the night and support you - get a Party Supporter wristband!

In order for your final lap to count, you must finish it by sunrise. Otherwise, you make your own strategy. Decide who will run when, how many laps, who will start, finish, etc. It's up to you! Get together and figure out how you can run the most miles from dusk to dawn.

Enjoy all-night activities such as an ultimate scavenger hunt or tours of the cosmos from a local astronomy club, win awesome giveaway prizes, and enjoy a pancake breakfast for charity at the end of the race.

    UTAH SCADaddle

    Saturday, April 25, 2026

    OUR CAUSE

Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little-known and poorly understood cause of a heart attack. Most patients are young, healthy, and active women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease. Although less common, it can affect men too. SCAD can recur and can be fatal. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options.

SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms.

    SCADaddle

Join us for our 2nd annual Utah SCADaddle to raise money for much-needed SCAD research. Our run/walk takes place in South Jordan City at East Riverfront Park, a family-friendly site with many amenities. The run/walk will start at the East Riverfront Park Pavilion, where the racers will go for 1.55 miles along the Jordan River Parkway. There will be a table for those who want water, and you'll be directed to turn around and return along the same path to the pavilion and finish line. We encourage participants to do the walk/run at their own pace.

Register by April 5 to guarantee this year's SCADaddle t-shirt.

    RACE DETAILS

Chip Timing: We use a disposable chip timing tag that participants receive at packet pick-up on their race bibs. It is lightweight and remains attached to the race bib. Runners/walkers must wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing to be timed accurately. Please do not layer over the bib.

Runners/walkers MUST wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing to be timed accurately. The bib cannot be covered; holding it or putting it in your pocket will NOT read the chip. Do not bend the chip. Smartwatches like Garmin and smartphones can interfere with the timing chip frequency. Please do not adjust your watch or phone as you cross the finish line and come through the chute. Disputes over time on smartwatches and smartphones will not be considered.

Awards: All runners and walkers will be timed. Awards will be given to the top three (3) overall male and female and the top male and top female in each of the following age categories: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

We encourage all participants to run or walk at their own pace.

Packet Pick-Up for runners AND walkers: Packet pick-up begins at 8:30 am on race day. We will accept registrations during this time but cannot guarantee this year's t-shirt.
