    Description

Buckle up, buttercup. This is northern Utah at its finest. The DC Peaks 100 is a true mountain ultramarathon, starting in Memory Grove—right below the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City—and finishing at Tunnel Springs Park in North Salt Lake. Along the way, you’ll rack up roughly 20,869 feet of vertical gain across some of the best trails the Wasatch Front has to offer. You’ll head north through foothills and canyons into Davis County, tackling a solid mix of singletrack, service roads, and just a touch of pavement. Grind the climbs, rip the descents, and get yourself properly wrecked before sliding seamlessly into the classic DC Peaks 50 route for the entire back half of the race. That stretch delivers the goods: the Great Western Trail climb, Mueller Park’s most-loved trails, views that almost make the suffering worth it, and exposed ridgelines that test every ounce of grit you’ve got left.Expect mostly trail, some service road, and very minimal pavement.Ultrarunners built this race because we wanted to double down on what matters—killer views, relentless terrain, fantastic people, and a finish line crew ready to meat the runners when it’s all over.See you kids out there!

The Lauren McCluskey Foundation’s Race for Campus Safety is an annual, community-driven event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to improve how colleges respond to relationship violence and stalking. Inspired by Lauren McCluskey’s life and legacy, the race brings together students, families, advocates, and campus communities in a shared commitment to systemic change. Participants of all ages run, walk, or volunteer to support the foundation’s mission of enhancing campus safety and accountability.

More than just a race, the event creates a space for learning, connection, and collective action. Attendees enjoy access to resources, educational booths, live entertainment, cheer squads, sports mascots, and fun activities like inflatable obstacle courses and yard games. Proceeds directly support the foundation’s work in research, advocacy, and programming to make campuses safer nationwide.

The 2026 Salt Lake City Race for Campus Safety will be held on October 31. Register early to take advantage of the early-bird rate for 2026! In 2025, we had over 800 participants come together as a community for our race and festival supporting awareness efforts for campus safety, and we can't wait to see you there in 2026. Choose from 1K, 5K, or 10K routes, meet and greet with mascots, and create or join a team!
