Join the South Davis Recreation Center for our annual Handcart Days Half Marathon, Frontier 5k & Pioneer Pete1k!
This event is a hoot and a holler! Pick an event (half marathon, 5k or 1k), and run with our Race Pacers in the Half and our Pioneer Pete in the 1K.
Race details will be send out via email, the week of the race. We offer some breakfast items to go along with our traditional oranges, bananas, and muffins.
Make this a yearly tradition for you and yours!

Both races will take place on the Utah Crits' closed course - creating such a fun atmosphere for runners!

There are many worthy causes that deserve our support - and this event is built around providing financial support to worthy charities. Perhaps nothing harms our society more, however, than child abuse. Wheels of Justice is committed to doing something about this. Wheels of Justice is a confederation of individual cyclists and cycling teams around the world helping to put an end to child abuse. Cyclists and teams everywhere are wanted and encouraged to raise their voices in support of this effort by being part of the confederation. The confederation has more than 700 individual members and the following team members.
With all the many good causes demanding our help, it is appropriate to ask, “Why child abuse?” Child abuse is perhaps more prevalent and more devastating than any disease or societal ill confronting our country. It is hard to believe, but more than one in seven children in Utah will be sexually abused before they turn 18! This is to say nothing of the other pernicious forms of child abuse.
The Mi Duole Cycling Team was established in 1984 and is one of the longest established road cycling clubs in Utah. The is thrilled to be hosting the 12th Annual Canyons Challenge.

#1 Wasatch Blvd (just before descending to the intersection of Big Cottonwood Canyon intersection) neighborhood road pulls off on the right side or east side called Prospector Drive (same as last year away from traffic).
#2 Parking Lot of Barbacoa in the Olympus Hills Shopping Center
#3 & #4 Emigration Park, Rotary Glen Park (base of Emigration same as last year away from traffic, and has some parking lot for being off the road and plenty of grass)

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen.
TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. The Witch Run is one of our favorite theme races held at Gardner Village. We have made it not only a 5K but also a Half Marathon and 10K. We will start two hours prior. This will give racers a brighter start in the daylight and a fun finish still at Gardner Village. Gardner Village is home to the best Halloween displays in Utah. We give racers a Witch Hat, Medal and a great festive Halloween experience.
