Voted Utah’s “Best Running Event” and “Best Half Marathon,” the University of Utah Health Salt Lake City Marathon Presented by Bank of America returns for its 23rd annual event on April 25, 2026—where urban meets the mountains.

Starting at the Olympic Legacy Bridge, this stunning course delivers sweeping views of the Wasatch Mountains while guiding runners through some of Salt Lake City’s most iconic neighborhoods, before finishing in the heart of downtown. Cross the finish line, soak in what you’ve just accomplished, and celebrate at the post-race party with friends and family.

With 5 events to choose from—Full & Half Marathons, 10K, 5K, and a 1K Kids event—there’s truly "Something for everyone."

Beautiful? Yes. Challenging? Absolutely. A Beautiful Challenge is what makes the Salt Lake City Marathon a race you need to experience—and run—for yourself.

Our goal is to raise funds so we can give a deserving recipient a scholarship to continue education, ensure that a student gets the opportunity to attend the church camp that meant so much to Allie both when she was a student and as a leader. Also, we are committed to providing much-needed support to the children in Haiti by sending backpacks filled with essential supplies. Through these initiatives, we strive to carry forward Allie's legacy of compassion, empowerment, and the belief in the transformative power of education and faith.
