All official entrants will receive a timing chip along with their race bib number.
If I get injured or for some other reason can’t run after I have registered, can I have my money refunded?
Once your registration has been accepted all fees are non-refundable, however, you may transfer your entry to another runner if you do so by July 5, 2024. Please read the rules and instructions at http://www.run13.com/races/hobbler/faq. This will reduce a lot of confusion for you if you need to modify your registration for any reason. Keep in mind, the new runner will pay the current listed price, not the price you may have paid when you registered. This is our most frequently asked question because runners do not read through the instructions.
Will there be pacers on the course?
Yes, RYR Race Pacers will be pacing the Half Marathon course. We will also be lining up runners according to their pace per mile at the start line – please line up accordingly and allow the faster runners to gather at the front of the pack.
Can I run with a stroller?
Yes. We simply ask those running with strollers to start towards the back of the race pack to avoid other runners tripping over stroller wheels and injuring themselves or their children.
Where are good places for my family to watch the race?
The best place is at the Finish Line Compound. Also, have your family check out the interactive course maps online and they may find a great place to cheer you on.
What happens if there is bad weather?
A little rain won’t stop this race! However, if there are major weather warnings prior to the event, check the home page for updates and watch for an email.
In the event that severe weather does threaten the event, we have prepared some weather cancellation policies and guidelines. Runners’ safety is the most important thing and if any of the threatening weather conditions listed below are present the day of the event, the event may be delayed or canceled. When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, race officials maintain the right to cancel the event. Less threatening conditions may cause alterations of the course or the post-event festival to ensure participant, volunteer, and community safety. Such conditions fall under the label “Acts of God,” and will not result in refunding of any race entry fees or future event credits.
The race may be canceled or delayed if any of the following weather conditions exist: Lightning Threat, Lightning Storm, Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch, Thunderstorm, “Heavy” Rain, other major weather condition.
The start of the event may be delayed one hour from the posted start time if any of the above-mentioned conditions exist. The event may then be canceled if any of the weather conditions persist: Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch, or Thunderstorm.
The Race Director, in accordance with the city and the local law enforcement, has the authority to cancel the event, if deemed unsafe for participants and volunteers for any reason. If weather conditions force cancellation of the event, no refunds can be provided, since funds were already spent in preparation for race day.
In the event of cancellation, we will make arrangements for all runners to receive any items available to runners from event sponsors.
If Event is canceled more than 24 hours prior to the start time: We will notify all participants by email. If Event is canceled less than 24 hours before the start time: We will notify all participants by email. If Event is canceled during the actual event, on-site notifications will be posted.
Will there be a Finish line party?
Yes, the finish line will be a party. We will have amazing food and entertainment, bounce houses, and face painting for kids. Please feel free to bring blankets and chairs to relax on at the finish line while cheering on your fellow runners!

Splash Summit Triathlon
Saturday, August 22, 2026
1330 East 300 North
7:00 a.m. race start
Reverse-order Sprint Triathlon
What I love about this race:
Who can say they finished a triathlon with a ride down a 300-foot long waterslide?! Those who sign up for this race can! We love this reverse-order triathlon, a perfect race for first-time triathletes and kids! All racers begin at the same time with a challenging 5k run 100% on asphalt, followed by a 8-mile bike ride, a 300-yard swim (which anyone is welcome to use a lifejacket!), and a run up the ramp to grab a mat and slide down "Avalanche" to the finish line. Not only do you get to participate in a triathlon at a super fun venue, free photos, an awesome finisher medal, and other swag, but participants will also receive two free passes (a $43.98 value) to Splash Summit Water Park to use in 2026 with each individual registration! (passes are emailed out every two weeks while registration is open). We also offer a 12 and under kids super-sprint triathlon that is half as long! We will also be offering a 5K walk/run.

KID'S TRI DISTANCE: 1.5 mile run, 4-mile bike, 150-yard swim, 300-foot waterslide finish
RACE START
All racers will begin at the starting line for the run, with the gun starting at 7:00 a.m. After running for 3.1 miles, racers will then transition within the park and exit on their bikes. Following a two-loop, 8-mile bike ride, racers will come back into the transition area, leave their bikes, run up the sidewalk to the wave pool, and jump into the pool for 300 yards to swim, and then run up the ramp to finish on "Avalanche", a 300-foot waterslide to the finish line.
KID'S TRIATHLON
New to the race this year - our half-sprint-distance triathlon is for those 7-12 years old who would like to also run in the race! Instead of two laps on the run and two laps on the bike, the kid's triathlon is one lap of each, and half the distance in the pool! The kid's tri will start after the sprint tri runners finish their first loop so the kids aren't running and biking alone. If parents want to race alongside their kids, they must purchase a kid's triathlon registration as well, and won't be in the running for awards.
TRIATHLON AWARDS
All triathlon participants will be given an awesome, super-soft t-shirt, race bib, sweet finisher medal, two free tickets to Splash Summit 2026 season, and sponsor swag.

Utah’s Last Fast Downhill Race to Qualify for the 2027 Boston Marathon
You’ll race down Payson Canyon on the Mt. Nebo Loop, surrounded by pine-lined roads, sweeping curves, and views of Mount Nebo, Utah Valley, and Utah Lake far below.
Whether you’re taking on the Marathon with its massive 4,561-foot drop, flying through the Half, or pushing for a PR in the 10K or 5K, every course at NEBO comes with speed, elevation, and a challenge worth showing up for.
This is where you run hard, dig deep, and let gravity do its job. You bring the grit — the canyon brings the drop.

You'll love our beautiful course, awesome finisher medal, super-soft t-shirt, accurate chip timing, free photos, and not to mention the absolute charm of Art City--Springville!

Last-minute packet pickup: September 5, 5:00-6:30 a.m. Location: Bartholomew Park - at the venue
5K only last-minute packet pickup: September 5, 7:15-7:45 a.m.
DISTANCE
5K WALK/RUN ONLY: 5K
REGULAR SPRINT TRI: ~450 yard swim (wetsuits encouraged, lifejackets permitted), 20k bike (12.4 miles), 5k run (3.1 miles)
TEAM SPRINT TRIATHLON: A team of 2-3 people where each person does one (or two) of the above leg(s). (Please first register one person, then go back and register the others in order to get the group pricing discount.)
THE RACE!:
SWIM
Starting on the beach by stepping over the timing mat, you will swim about 450 yards counter-clockwise around three buoys in a triangular pattern. Because the usual temperature in late summer of Bartholomew pond is around 60 degrees, wetsuits are encouraged, but not required. Lifeguards on kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes will help keep our swimmers safe. Lifejackets are allowed as well.
T1
Swimmers will exit the water where they started and enter the transition area to dry off, grab their bike, helmet (REQUIRED), and shoes and head off up the canyon!
BIKE
The bike exits the park to the east and turns north (left) up the hill. Springville Police will help cyclists turn east (right) up Canyon Rd where cyclists will do a simple out-and-back course up the LEFT fork of Hobble Creek Canyon. No aid stations will be on the bike course, but water for your water bottles will be available in transition. Cyclists will travel slowly up the 6.2 mile course, and then fly down the canyon on the way back! But slow down as you come out of the canyon and police will help you turn left toward Bartholomew Park to finish and rack your bike in T2.
T2
Rack your bike, strap on your running shoes and head south out of the park.
RUN
You'll make one big rectangle, running in the river bottoms with aid stations at every mile. After running through beautiful Mapleton and Springville neighborhoods, you'll head toward Bartholomew park, run around the pond on the dirt road to the finish line! You'll have done it! We'll drape a finisher's medal around your neck and you can celebrate your success with family, friends, and lots of good post-race snacks! If you're ONLY doing the 5K walk/run, we'll start you at 8:00 a.m., and you'll get everything that the triathletes do!
TIMING CHIP SYSTEM AWESOMENESS
RunnerCard will be providing our chip timing, and they do a phenomenal job. Timing chips are placed on your ankle for the duration of the triathlon. When you finish we'll grab your chip off your ankle--make sure we do so you don't get fined for losing it! Shortly after you finish, you can pick up a print out of your time and ranking. You'll also receive a text with your time right after you cross the finish line! Talk about efficient!

All participants will be given a swag bag including an awesome, super-soft t-shirt, race bib, finisher medal, and other sponsor items.

20 Milers get a beautiful ride on country roads from the Lavender Farms to the Mona Reservoir. 40s add a loop through the incredible Goshen Canyon, orchards, and a stop at Rowley's Red Barn. 60, 80, and 100 (century) riders get to enjoy the spectacular West Mountain loop riding along Utah Lake.
Rest stops with snacks and support every 10-15 miles. Papa Bear riders and Support Dispatch ready to assist on course. We'll be helping and cheering you on the whole way!
Location: Due to course and venue improvements (and avoiding construction) our ride starts and ends at Young Living Lavender Farm @ 3700 Old Hwy 91, Mona, UT 84645.
